I was surprised the author let the fl go on with her life that easy after portraying her as a more experienced and mature person. She wasn’t weak and timid anymore and didn’t like the palace life but it seams like in the end she just meekly stayed by his side. There was no love burst in her heart in this last chapter, and only circumstances forced her to stay. She may still shed tears in her heart….
