C2 Chapter Two

Kira POV

The driver took me home and I quickly packed my stuffs and called Leo...

He reassured me that I'll be fine and I just need to find out Mr Anderson's secret then I'm out of there.

That means I better get this mission over with!

We got to Mr Anderson's house without me realizing

Chase was waiting for me at the terrace looking like a godly statue just standing there..

Is this the boy who was scared of a cockroach few hours ago?

The servants ushered me in and took my luggages

Chase then came forward smirking...great! what was in his mind now?

"Well miss Kira I'll do you the honors of showing you the room you'll be staying in" He said..

He took me to a well furnished bedroom which looked like it was designed for a girl

"Wow so you brought me to the room where all your lovers stayed" I said

"No I just asked them to design this just for you"He said..

Did he really design all this for me?

I guess that... that's sweet of him

"I specifically chose this room because my room is at the next door" Chase said

Great, I knew it!

"Well then I don't want to stay in this room and it's final" I said with finality

"If you're my bodyguard,you have to do what I say....and how will you protect me if your room is far away from mine?" Chase said smirking..

I wish I could just wipe those smirks off his face!

"Or are you scared that we're gonna make out one day?" Chase asked coming closer to me

"Well that'll only be possible if you have a death wish and I'm sure you don't" I replied and his smirk fell

"Oof! Someone's playing hard to get...I like it" Chase said seductively

I gave him a hot slap and he staggered to the ground

"What the hell was that?" He shouted

"Oh! Did that hurt? Sorry it was just instincts" I said sarcastically

"Then you better put that instinct in check...are you trying to protect me or kill me?" He asked trying to get up

"Maybe both" I chuckled walking into my room and shutting the door.

Kira POV

Finally! It's midnight

Everyone must be asleep by now... I need to search this house and get this mission over with.

I quietly opened the door and tiptoed out making sure not to make a single sound.

When the maid was taking me to the lounge earlier, I managed to look around the hallway

Holy jeezz! This house is too huge

I don't get why people have to build such a big house with so many rooms when there's hardly anyone to occupy those rooms...

Rich people are just so stupid.

I tiptoed along the hallway looking for a secret room

I'm sure Mr Anderson smuggles gold into a secret room...I mean all bad men have secret rooms

Right?

Com on Kira! Focus!

I just need to know where his room is located first..

**Few hours later**

Kira POV

I ended up tiptoeing around the hallway without finding any secret room or Mr Anderson's room either..

I need to have a drink...atleast I know where the kitchen is...

I walked over to the kitchen and I stumbled across a glorious sight!

Holy moly! Chase was here drinking water.... SHIRTLESS!

I mean it's not like he has broad shoulders but darn he's got a perfect slim physique

His black-blue hair was let loose and he was dripping with sweat... Gaudd! What sort of temptation is this.

His long eye lashes kept on blinking as though he was still feeling sleepy

"Kira? What are you doing here?" He asked

"The same reason you're here of course" I replied nonchalantly

"To drink water? I'm sure there's a water jug in your room..I asked the servants to place it there" He said

Oh shit! He caught my lie.

"Umm I guess I didn't check it.."I replied dryly hoping he bought the excuse

"Ok..I just hope you're ready to answer my father's questions in the morning" He said

"Father's question?" I asked

"Yeah look over there" he pointed to a wall and there I saw it.

CCTV!!!!

"There's cctv everywhere in this house and Dad always goes to the control room in the morning and check if anyone sneaked around" He said before leaving

"Go back to bed and sleep... goodnight" He said and left

Sneaked? CCTV?

Gosh how could I not remember to check for CCTV...this is as a result of my clumsiness

He's going to check the CCTV tomorrow and find out that I was sneaking around..

I've gat to find that control room..

Chase POV

I was filling my jug with water when Kira walked in and my breathing stopped.

She looked exquisite in her red night gown...

Shit! She has no idea how hot she looks.

"Kira? What are you doing here?" I asked

"The same reason you're here of course" She replied nonchalantly

She's always so sarcastic and ready to argue.

She seemed to look tired and frantic as if she's being searching for something...I asked her and she said she came to drink water..

I'm sure she was lying,so I acted as if I bought the lie and left

I just hope that whatever she's doing shouldn't be to father's dislike or else I don't want to think about what he will do to her...

Father called me to his lounge after Kira left with the driver to get her belongings...

"Father...you sent for me" I said

"Yes sit down" He ordered in his deep voice

I sat down quietly

"So about that girl.. I don't want her" He said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I don't want her in this house, she seemed like someone who's stubborn and fiesty and I don't like those types...her eyes tells a lot of things about her" He said

What is he saying? He has always found problems with the other girls and I also didn't like those ones

But Kira...no I can't let her go

"What are you saying Dad? Kira is perfect for the job..yes she might look fiesty but she won't go against your rules" I said

"Hmm it seems like you've taken an interest in this one...ok I'll listen to you this once but if I was to catch her doing anything sneaky or mysterious... I'll eliminate her" He said

"Eliminate? It hasn't gotten to that Dad" I said

"You know what I mean by eliminate right?" He asked

"Yes sir" I sighed and stood up to leave

"And she won't be the only one who I'll punish... you know what I mean" He said before I left the room...

I know my father.

Once he means something,it means he's gat his eyes on that person.

I pray Kira doesn't fall into his trap.

**An hour later**

Kira POV

I searched round the house again and luckily I found the control room..

I saw myself sneaking around in the screen,gosh I would have been caught out if chase didn't mention it..

I'm so stupid!

Ok I just need to delete this footage but how?

Damn! Think, think, think Kira...

Dad once taught me how to delete a CCTV footage...

Ohh gaudd!! How could I have forgotten?...
