I didn't know what to say!

My heart seemed to beat quickly, I looked at James, he smiled back at me expecting a reply. "James, I don't....."

Alex walked towards us and James quickly stood up, he hid the ring in his pocket and frowned.

"What's going on, I saw you kneeling down."

"Nothing, I was apologizing to Lisa for everything I've done to her, I want her to forgive me." He lied
