C1 Always A Big Girl

Sammy has always been a big girl, she has not for once in her lifetime been a slender or just average in size and guess what? There will always be people who call others names. The funny thing is that it's not given a huge display nor made a big deal when it concerns others who are seem to be the ideal as the society made them, this isn't about how society have discriminated against others it's just to say it does so.

It was the year 2016, she was in her grade 11. Coming from a family of wealth she didn't flaunt her family's status in fact she was the most sensible child in her family as much as they all have different personalities, family came first in her life, their status didn't define any of them. That year she was going to be serious in her studies since she didn't want to fall down and to be considered in a university of her choice, so she enrolled in extra classes which were being run by university students and other teachers who want to help learners.

It was a sunny Friday afternoon and she was coming for school to the school that held extra classes it was a mixed race school which was nice maybe she'll make friends who knows, studying doesn't mean to be a stuck up person, it means widening your knowledge and it doesn't stop one from living their lives so she was going to make friends and just be herself. Sammy enjoyed mathematics more than anything and she wanted to become a mathematician and a professor at that which was a huge thing. She knocked on the door when she reached it and the teacher said she can come in , she introduced her as one of the students and told them her name " Sammy Lunar Radebe" and told her to sit on any empty seat.

She decided to sit at the back since she wouldn't be in a place where she can cause attention but little did she know that she sat near the one and only young master of the largest software company in the country "Hong Young Ho", the little demon as they called him since he has never been seen smiling and he had this cold aura around him, as they always described him "He strode in from the door, the room fell in silence as their eyes gazed at him, he shot back with a cold stare everyone had a shiver going down their spine the moment he walked in the classroom everyone was feeling cold from his coldness not even a fly had the audacity to fly when he is around", that how people described him and the funny thing is he is one of the funniest guys to be around with just that people always have to be dramatic over nothing because he doesn't smile for you it doesn't mean he is a King of Coldness as some say.

Sammy turned to her right side and waved at Young Ho and that instance Young Ho was very shocked he had never met a person who didn't see him as a demon as they say and this black girl just decided to wave and smile she must be a hero who knows, he decide to wave back without smiling and that didn't stop at that Sammy as bubbly as they come bent down on his desk and whispered "I'm Sammy Lunar Radebe as the old lady said but you can call me Lunar and you're?", she said as she extended her hand and everyone in class was looking at them Sammy thought maybe it because she was loud as always without knowing that people were praying for her survival and that they were praying not to be killed by the King because they didn't warn her, what they didn't expect to happen, happened Young Ho bent to her level and took her hand and told her "I'm Hong Young Ho AKA The Little demon , the King of Coldness as they call me".

He said that and waited for her reply mostly her actions of quickly going to her desk and hide but he didn't expect for the girl to laugh, she laughed so hard that she had a wave of tears down her cheeks as she wiped them with the back of her hand she spoke while trying to stop laughing "C..C ..Coldness?, Ki...King? Stop it! Is your mother the evil queen from snow white? hahaha Oh my Goodness you're funny", she even banged the desk laughing. At that moment some guy was coughing trying to hide his laughter and others were begging God not to forsake them, Young Ho in that instance knew that this girl was very interesting and she doesn't seem to be scared of him because he doesn't smile, he wore black , with the hoodie on and had piercing gaze, he decided he will get to know this bubbly girl who knows it might be his first friend outside his connections. He spoke with his deep voice laced with playfulness and said "Nice to meet you and you're beautifully loud miss R", at that moment the class was shocked it was even more than that who told Young Ho to actually talk to someone and the tone seemed like pampering where they dreaming?, for his best friend Kim Gil Dong , he was dazed that his friend is accepting a person, a girl at that there must be something special with this girl.

Sammy grinned and said, "Nice to meet you too, Little demon", as she was trying so hard not to laugh but was failing very miserably. The class was still so shocked some thought it was going to be the end of the world, some pinched themselves to see if they were not dreaming, some were trying so hard not to faint. Young Ho decided to shift his desk close to Sammy and Gil Dong shifted his as well and introduced himself as his best friend and known has the Prince of Laughter , Sammy just thought these Korean guys were very funny and interesting , she was happy that she met them. The teacher started the class teaching geometry and Young Ho was listening but acting as if he wasn't as always, Gil Dong was busy writing notes and Sammy was keeping the pace between looking over the handsome guys and the notes at the board. She felt that she was in a novel where she was the female lead with handsome guy friends.

Finally the lesson came to an end and everyone was rushing to get home, Sammy waited for the guys and walked with them when they reached the gates Sammy told them that she didn't love to be treated like a princess so she took the bus and Young Ho offered to drive her because they are friends now. Gil Dong on the side was grinning like a child on his very first day to Disneyland and he couldn't wait to tell his aunt "Young Ho's mom" about the changes of his lovely evil son. He could see that he had happiness he only had when he was with his group of friends, his family and playing games he wondered if this was the start of a romantic relationship for him or what? Having a girl who wasn't after his status, his wealth and most of all not a plastic doll, fake and all. He was shaken from his thoughts when Young Ho kicked him and he grunts like a little puppy and took the back seat since their new "friend" was at his seat.
