Yuan Yiyi and Su Mei screamed in shock, and Yuan Lin's expression changed as well. Yuan Lingling, unfazed, dusted off her hands. "I've been working a lot, so I've got a strong grip. What were you about to say? Go on."

Yuan Lin composed himself, called the bodyguards out, and, suppressing his anger and fear, said, "There's a villa at the Summit Estates worth about ten million dollars. I'll give you that and transfer another ten million to you. That's my final offer, don't push it."

"Alright, but I also want the office building next to the Flower City Mall. Once I get that, I'll sign the papers and leave."

That office building was in a prime location, newly built and just renovated, worth much more than a villa. Yuan Lin felt a pang of regret. Yuan Yiyi and Su Mei felt similarly, especially Yuan Yiyi, who felt like she was giving away her own possessions, as painful as losing a limb.

However, thinking that everything at home would eventually be hers, Yuan Yiyi felt a sense of relief. So what if she's the biological daughter? She's still being kicked out.

Yuan Lingling raised an eyebrow, watching their expressions change, saying nothing as she waited.

In the end, Yuan Lin, pressured by Yuan Lingling's unusual strength and her knack for causing trouble, agreed.

That day, after completing the transfer procedures, Yuan Lingling, Yuan Lin, and Su Mei signed a document severing ties in front of a lawyer.

Although the document had no legal standing, they liked the formality of it.

The reason for severing ties was that Yuan Lingling couldn't adapt to the high-society lifestyle and identity, feeling overwhelmed. She wanted to return to her adoptive parents to care for her brother, willingly giving up her inheritance rights.

For Yuan Lingling's mental health and to honor her devotion to her adoptive parents, both parties agreed to cut ties and not disturb each other in the future.

The Yuan family would publish a statement in the newspaper the next day.

This time, Yuan Lin made a significant concession, and the three members of the Yuan family looked constipated.

Yuan Lingling left with her things, feeling on top of the world. Two days later, she and Mooh Bai took their college entrance exams. Afterward, Yuan Lingling started planning to establish a tech company. Initially, she intended to make her fortune through stock trading, as starting a company seemed too complicated. On the other hand, things weren't looking so great for Yuan Yiyi. After the exams, she realized she hadn't done well but was too afraid to tell anyone. After spending two weeks at home, she approached Mo Tingchen. "Hey, Chen, are you free tonight? Want to hang out?"

Mo Tingchen replied coolly, "I'm busy. Use the card I gave you and hang out with your friends."

Given Mo Tingchen's unpredictable moods, Yuan Yiyi didn't press further. Instead, she playfully said, "I knew it, Chen, you're the best! Don't forget to eat on time. I'm off now!"

As soon as Yuan Yiyi stepped into the elevator, her expression turned cold. She felt she couldn't rely on Mo Tingchen anymore. Considering her options, Lin Chen seemed like a decent backup, so she decided to keep both options open. If Mo Tingchen ignored her, she'd be left with nothing.
