When he found out that Yuan Yiyi had used his money to buy gifts for a rival, he was furious and confined her, using the Yuan family as leverage against her. Yuan Yiyi wasn't particularly concerned about Yuan Lin and his wife, but she couldn't bear to lose the Yuan family's wealth. Without the title of the eldest daughter of the Yuan family, she felt she was nothing.

After thinking it over, Yuan Yiyi stopped resisting and began to appease Mo Tingchen. She managed to get some information from Mo Tingchen's assistant, learning that he received such photos regularly. Her first suspicion was Yuan Lingling, but she dismissed the thought, considering Yuan Lingling to be clueless. The more she thought about it, the more she believed it was one of Mo Tingchen's business rivals trying to provoke him, which only fueled her resentment towards him.

Yuan Lingling had planted a listening device on Yuan Yiyi's phone and was aware of the current developments. Knowing that Mo Tingchen was investigating the source of the photos, she deliberately pointed the blame towards Lin Chen, hoping to pit these two headstrong CEOs against each other. Without the backing of their family businesses, these obsessive executives were nothing.
