Based on today's encounter, she admittedly wasn't too fond of her.

Thinking it over, there she was, standing alone at the hospital entrance, watching Han Kun whisk her away. How could she not feel irritated?

Fu Yunfei was bound to find out about this soon, certainly within a week.

He would likely caution her against mistreating Lin Huanhuan, who was nothing but an innocent and kind-hearted young woman.

Especially considering what had transpired the previous night...

But what did happen last night?

Fu Yunfei and Lin Huanhuan made their relationship official, attending the evening's event as a couple.

Su Lan, sensing a threat, attempted to solidify her position with Fu Yunfei.

Little did she know, Fu Yunfei, fighting off the drug's influence, managed to eject her from the situation.

Heartbroken, Su Lan found herself drenched in the rain on the street. After calling Han Kun and disclosing her whereabouts, he arrived only to find Lin Huanhuan had already taken her away.

He probably didn't know about last night's drama yet. Otherwise, his expression would be quite different.

Su Lan, like today, had called him for a ride. Upon waking, Fengye's first thought was of him too. But post-call, she was filled with regret. Why had she bothered listening to him?

Han Kun held a peculiar place in Su Lan's heart.

The Han and Su families were on good terms, and although Han Kun and Fu Yunfei were close friends, he never did anything to harm Su Lan.

That remained true even after he realized he had feelings for Lin Huanhuan.

More often than not, he simply spoke his mind.

Take, for instance, his comment just now.

Had it been anyone else, Su Lan would have been infuriated.

"Don't try to fool me. We've known each other since childhood; I'm well aware of your character," she would have retorted.

But Fengye wasn't Su Lan. She was merely frustrated and didn't feel like engaging.

Han Kun's brow furrowed as he noticed Fengye's silence. He was about to speak when his phone suddenly rang.

Fengye casually glanced over and caught sight of the name Yunfei emblazoned across the phone screen.

Han Kun answered the call, "Yunfei, what's up?"

It sounded like the caller was asking for his location.

Han Kun replied truthfully, "Su Lan's been hospitalized, so I went to pick her up. We're on our way back now."

While Han Kun was talking, he failed to notice the subtle shift of the woman in the passenger seat edging closer to him.

An irritated voice came from Fu Yunfei on the other end, "She's got the nerve to have you pick her up? Just bring her over, I need to have a word with her."

"Have a word?" Han Kun glanced at Fengye, puzzled.

The woman simply shrugged, prompting Han Kun to ask with a hint of resignation, "What's going on?"

"Just bring her over, it's too complicated to explain right now."

The call ended abruptly, clearly indicating that Fu Yunfei had hung up.

Han Kun paused briefly, then turned to the woman beside him, "What have you done to make him so mad?"

Fengye tilted her head back, stretching out in the passenger seat, "Oh, nothing much, I just nearly finished him off."

"Finished him off? What do you mean..." Han Kun's confusion was cut short as his eyes widened in shock, "You... what?!"
