C3 You Feed Me
Jian Nian had never expected the opening to be so awkward.
Breathing deeply in the fresh air, Jian Nian went to check on the boy beside him. He was relieved to see that he was breathing evenly, and finally passed out due to the pain and exhaustion.
Jian Nian went back to the scene when he just entered the disciple recruitment ceremony. Just when he was about to be called as an inner disciple, he was so excited that he wanted to laugh out loud, but his chest was pierced by a long sword.
Pain!
Jian Nian suddenly opened his eyes and tried hard to breathe. The smell of the medicine slowly woke him up.
"You're awake?" He heard a hoarse voice as he tried to organize his thoughts.
Jian Nian turned his head and saw a delicate chin and a cracked lips.
He recalled that this was the target of his mission, and at this moment, there was something extra on top of his head.
What do you mean? He hadn't seen him before.
While thinking, Duan Yov handed a cup of water to Jian Nian. Without saying a word, he seemed very restrained.
However, Jian Nian did not take it. His entire body was in pain and he could no longer move from his neck down.
Jian Nian moved his Adam's apple and said with difficulty: "Feed me."
Duan Yov was stunned and did not make a move for a long time.
Jian Nian patiently waited for him with his mouth slightly open. No one knew what Duan Yov was thinking, but after some time, he finally got close. Suddenly, a few people barged into the room.
"…"
If it was before, Duan Yov would already be a dead man.
Since Jian Nian couldn't stand it anymore, he could only look at him coldly.
Duan Yov stood up in a hurry as he seemed to be in a fluster. He picked up a tissue to wipe him clean, then pressed both of his hands on his shoulders.
"Duan Yov, what are you doing?" The one who spoke was a woman, it was obviously Duan Yov's man.
A few more people came one after another. The small ward was suddenly filled with people. The clamoring noise was very loud.
Jian Nian listened to their conversation with a cold expression. The main idea was to understand why he woke up in the fire.
Jian Nian's current body was not his own, but someone else's.
Due to some reasons, he came into contact with Duan Yov, and it was this contact that resulted in him being kidnapped by the same people that were involved with Duan Yov. The two people that kidnapped them were the other two people that were locked up with him when Jian Nian woke up.
But now he was dead. The burnt body was gone, leaving behind a pile of ashes.
However, Jian Nian didn't think that the matter was as they said.
Although he didn't know much, he did know some basic guesses about Jian Nian.
After all, how could a prisoner have locked himself in a room of his own choosing and burned himself inside?
Besides, how could they not know the layout of the room better than Duan Yov, who was locked in the cabinet?
Jian Nian calmly glanced at Duan Yov, who had been silent from the start to the end. No one could tell his expression or mood, his lips were tightly shut. The others asked him but he didn't say anything, as if he was mute.
No one knew what he was thinking.
However, this brat seemed to be more shrewd than he looked.
"Then tell us how you escaped, right?"
At the mention of this, Duan Yov turned his head towards Jian Nian.
The rest of the people looked over as well.
All of a sudden, everyone's attention was on him.
Jian Nian's expression was calm. He glanced at them and gave off the cold aura of 'Don't talk to me if I'm not familiar with you'.
