C7 Surface

Chapter VI. surface

Lee Qiangdi had already lived in the deep sea for three days.

In these three days, the luck in his heart had finally been extinguished and he accepted the fact that he was no longer human.

Yes, he was a fish now, a mermaid living in the deep sea.

Three days later, after finally getting tired of the silence and boredom of the seabed, Lee Qiangdi decided to fight his way out of the sea to see the blue sky and the flying seagulls. He might even encounter a few ships sailing by and meet some of his former kind.

Lee Qiangdi didn't know where he was at the moment, nor did he know how much sea there was between here and the surface of the sea. Anyway, when he finally came out of the sea, he was so tired that he almost collapsed.

Sure enough, he still hadn't fully adapted to the mermaid's body. Otherwise, how could he have expended so much of his stamina?

Looking up at the sky, Lee Qiangdi suddenly felt a sense of familiarity.

He looked around and saw a vast expanse of white, surrounded by blue seawater. He couldn't see any other living beings.

Finally, Lee Qiangdi found a big rock on the surface of the sea and sat on it. His beautiful silver tail unconsciously lapped against the sea water. The teenager looked up. No ship was passing by.

He could not help but feel somewhat disappointed!

He didn't want to return to the sea, so he just sat there quietly with his back facing the desolate youth …

It was unknown how much time had passed before the sun slowly sank below the surface of the sea. The afterglow of the setting sun shone on the youth's tough body, making him look like a god that had wandered into the mortal world …

"There's no boat …" Lee Qiangdi let out a faint sigh, but he didn't know what he was feeling.

He wanted to see humans, but he was also afraid to see humans.

In the blank sea, which direction was his home? Is this the Pacific, the Atlantic, or some other sea?

He hoped that he wouldn't be too far away from the mainland, or else swimming back would tire him to death.

Alas, he was a bitter child's paper, a child without anyone to cover it. Something so unimaginable could happen to him.

Dad, mom, if I go back one day after a lot of trouble, don't tell me you've already cooked me a fish soup?

Forget it, thinking about it now is useless. Can he go back?

Wanting to leave the sea and land was a huge problem for him right now. Without a concrete solution, he would definitely not act rashly and place his life in the hands of others.

He didn't want to be sliced up and then stored in a freezer in pieces. He wanted to be analyzed from hair to cells by a bunch of crazy scientists, who would give him his last drop of blood. When Lee Qiangdi thought of that scene, he felt his entire body shivering uncontrollably.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew by, seemingly embracing that lonely figure …

The youth sat with his back facing the large stone. His long hair that was like ocean waves scattered all over the ground. Some of it was even stained by the blue ocean water. It swayed and fluctuated like seaweed.

After a long time …

Lee Qiangdi held the big rock under him with one hand and pulled up his hair that was blown by the wind down his face. Then, he stared blankly at the big pearls hanging on the rings on his wrists.

Pearl? Mermaid? Tears of a Mermaid?

It seemed that he had once bought a crystal clear pearl. According to the stall owner, it was dug out from an underwater ruin.

Wait, underwater ruins?

Was there any connection between them? Was his current physical condition related to the tears of the merfolk that he might have lost under the avalanche?

Lee Qiangdi's mood fluctuated, but he felt helpless. Even if he wanted to find the Tears of the Mermaid, he didn't have one now.

The youth was dejected, his chest stuffy.

"Ah …" God, what was all this? Lee Qiangdi was speechless as he scratched his head. He wanted to vent …

The sea seemed to feel the violent mood of the youth, actually churning up layers of waves …

"Mom, what's going on? The tsunami is coming?" Lee Qiangdi came back to his senses due to the activity on the surface of the sea. He was shocked by the situation in front of him, but he didn't care about his previous depression and disappointment. He was so scared that he almost jumped into the sea …

The power of the waves was not a joke. He would not be swallowed up by the waves and die once again.

What Lee Qiangdi didn't know was that at a certain place in the sea four hours away from him, there was a ship that bore the brunt of the raging waves coming from Azure Sea Breeze …
