C13 Something Happened to Yeh Sen!
"Zhenzhen, come quick! Your patient is awake!" The doctor's voice rang out from outside the door, sounding quite alarmed.
Ye Zhenzhen quickly gathered her thoughts, her expression shifting. Before she could step out, the doctor burst in, grabbing her wrist and pulling her along. "You need to see this!"
"What happened? Is there an emergency?" Zhenzhen's heart skipped a beat. Could Mr. Hsu's condition be serious?
"You'll understand once you see it. Come with me! The patient insists on seeing the person who brought him in, or he won't cooperate with treatment!" the doctor said urgently, clearly frustrated. "His condition is dangerous and needs immediate attention!"
Zhenzhen couldn't worry about anything else and rushed toward the emergency room. The first room was still in use, but the "In Surgery" sign on the second room was off.
Inside the second room, it wasn't Mr. Hsu but Yeh Sen!
If something happened to him, the consequences could be even more severe!
Without a second thought, Zhenzhen dashed into the emergency room. There, she saw a young man, his face obscured by blood, locked in a standoff with the medical staff.
He was kneeling on the bed, holding a scalpel, its tip aimed at the neck of a doctor he had in a headlock, glaring fiercely at everyone around him.
Amidst the blood, his eyes were sharp, like a cornered beast's, glinting with a cold light.
Those eyes were even more intense and fierce than Yeh Lin's.
Is this Yeh Sen?
Zhenzhen instinctively felt this young man was not to be trifled with. She took a few steps forward, stopping in front of him. "I hear you're looking for me?"
"Who are you?!"
Yeh Sen's eyes grew even more hostile, watching Zhenzhen warily.
"You wanted to see the person who brought you to the hospital, right? That's her!"
The doctor behind Ye Zhenzhen spoke up, surprised they didn't recognize each other.
Ye Zhenzhen glanced at the blood-stained sheets before looking back at Yeh Sen. He was clearly struggling to stay upright, his hand trembling as he gripped the scalpel.
"I brought you to the hospital. Let's put the knife down and talk this out," she said calmly, her voice carrying a cool edge that seemed to ease Yeh Sen's tension, though his grip on the knife remained firm.
"If you keep this up, you'll not only hurt others but put yourself in real danger. After a car accident, internal injuries and a concussion require immediate and thorough examination!" a doctor urged, though Yeh Sen silenced him by hurling an unknown piece of equipment from the bedside.
Ye Zhenzhen listened to the doctor's warning, noting the wary look in the blood-smeared young man's eyes. She frowned slightly and stepped closer. "Yeh Sen, let the doctor go, and let's talk alone. If you don't trust me, you can keep me as your hostage."
In his current state, if Yeh Sen didn't cooperate, he might not survive. If he died, it would mean Yeh Lin would hold a grudge against her again. More importantly, Yeh Lin might also take it out on her family.
In the past, when Yeh Sen was lost, Yeh Lin's Tiansen Group relentlessly targeted her family. During those days of retribution, her father's hair turned almost white. Eventually, they had to downsize significantly just to keep their assets intact.
Now that Yeh Sen had been saved, he needed to live well to prevent further retaliation. Her father wouldn't have to exhaust himself, risking his health.
Yeh Sen looked at her. Since this girl knew his name, she might know the whole story. He decisively said, "Come over here!"
Without hesitation, Ye Zhenzhen walked up to him. He released the doctor he had been holding and grabbed Ye Zhenzhen by the collar, pressing the scalpel to her neck.
Her skin was incredibly delicate, and Yeh Sen, struggling to control his strength, inadvertently caused a wound that began to bleed.
"Ah, call the police, call the police!" a female nurse couldn't help but scream in shock.
