C7 You're Courting Death!!

The man stood there, his expression indifferent, as if he hadn't just made such a move. Yet, Ye Zhenzhen had caught a fleeting glimpse of murderous intent in his eyes.

“There are cameras here. Aren’t you worried about being caught on tape?” Ye Zhenzhen's legs trembled slightly, but she kept her back as straight as possible while speaking to him. She knew he despised weakness, so she had to prove she wasn’t someone who crumbled under pressure.

“And if a shooting happens here, it’ll mess up your plans too! I’m not asking for much, just someone to help me open the car door!”

“I told you, that’s none of my business!” The man looked at the young woman in front of him. He shouldn’t have any connection with her, yet those dark, stubborn eyes seemed oddly familiar.

The gun remained aimed at her forehead, his warning cold and harsh: “Since you know who I am, I suggest you stay out of it, or I can’t promise I won’t take you out before leaving!”

His words carried a chilling menace, as if he would do exactly what he said. When he finally saw the girl’s face turn pale, he put the gun away, ready to leave.

Ye Zhenzhen hesitated, watching as the car window began to roll up. She shouted, “Yeh Lin, if you walk away now, you’ll regret it!”

The window stopped abruptly, and the air seemed to freeze.

“Are you looking for trouble?!” The man inside glared at Ye Zhenzhen, his gaze sharp as a knife, like he was looking at a dead person, sending chills down her spine.

The atmosphere felt like it had dropped to freezing. Ye Zhenzhen clenched her fists tightly, as if she needed to hold herself together to stop from shaking. She even noticed his arm twitch slightly, as if he was about to draw his gun again.

But this was her only chance, so she absolutely couldn't let it slip away. This highway leading to the docks would never see a convoy like this again, and it might even help her. Time was running out!

"Your brother, he's in that overturned Maybach. Does that have nothing to do with you?" Ye Zhenzhen shouted with all her might, her eyes fixed on Yeh Lin. From what she knew, Yeh Sen was his only weakness, something he could never let go of. If it weren't for the accident that killed Yeh Sen in the explosion, he wouldn't have tormented and sought revenge on her afterward.

"You know Sen?" Yeh Lin's brow furrowed, his voice slightly wavering, though his gaze remained as sharp as a blade, seemingly skeptical of Ye Zhenzhen's words.

"Boss, don't let this girl fool you!" a voice came from the front seat, sounding like the person who had been talking to the lead car driver over the radio earlier.

"If you think I'm lying, why don't you go check it out? Those two cars are there, they can't escape!" Ye Zhenzhen feared the situation might fall apart. After all, in her memory, what they were going to do today was crucial, and they didn't have much time to waste with her!

"If someone's going to check, I'll go. Don't let me find out you're lying!" The passenger door of the Bentley suddenly opened, and a man in a black suit stepped out. His hair was short, his eyes sharp, and he looked at Ye Zhenzhen with absolute hostility.

Ye Zhenzhen was taken aback. She had seen him before, though only in a photograph, yet he left a deep impression. It was on Yeh Sen's memorial day when she was first brought to the memorial site and forced to kneel before Yeh Sen's picture. Above Yeh Sen's urn was his father, Yeh Haitian. Below was this man called Mr. Bing. After the ceremony, Yeh Lin burned a stack of photos in front of Mr. Bing's urn. One picture had fluttered out of the fire pit, and before it was consumed, she caught a glimpse of a boy with a terrifying deathly expression.

The voice overhead was even more chilling than the photograph: "Mr. Bing, your family has already been sent on their way. Don't think hiding in Africa makes you safe. They'll show you the price of betrayal!"

"Do you like the gift I sent you? Every year, I'll remind you: when you're alive, no one will be there for you; when you die, no one will mourn you!"
