"You must have everything planned out, right? How are you going to handle her? Tell me, maybe I can give you some advice."

Gao Yan's curiosity was piqued. It was rare to catch something interesting to pass the time, so she was happy to help just for a bit of fun.

Qin Su kept her lips sealed, watching the two people cozying up on the couch through the floor-to-ceiling window.

Qin Guangjun felt his head spinning. He had planned to take this chance to have a serious talk with Meng Lili, but as soon as they met, she clung to him like a desperate temptress.

This woman was beautiful, with a great figure, and not even thirty yet. She had a certain allure that had captivated him from the start, leading him to spend quite a bit of money on her over the past two years.

"Lili, can you come down for a second? I need to talk to you."

"Sure, Mr. Jun, what's up? I'm listening."

The way she called him Mr. Jun almost made Qin Guangjun forget the decision he'd been mulling over for days. Without thinking, he wrapped his arm around her waist as she eagerly leaned in with her bright red lips for a kiss.

Meanwhile, Pann Hao, hiding nearby, snapped several close-up shots with his camera.

Qin Guangjun snapped back to reality, biting his molars as he thought to himself, all for the sake of his daughter.

"Don't be like this, Lili. I really have something to do."

Pushing away the warm embrace, Guangjun lit a cigarette. Meanwhile, Lili was thinking to herself, "What's gotten into him today, acting all serious?"

From a distance, Qin Su called Pann Hao back, knowing the plan had worked. She quickly left, unable to stay in that place any longer.

"Lili, we've been together for quite some time, and you know how I've treated you. I've just been too busy lately. Here's $3,000. Whether you want to start a small business or something else, it's up to you. We won't see each other as often, and I can't help you much anymore. You understand, right?"

Of course, Lili understood—this was a breakup. Guangjun, do you really think you're such a catch? Or do you think I'm just anyone you can walk away from when you feel like it? You think $3,000 is enough to make me go away? Ha!

"Mr. Jun, I get what you're saying, but I've been with you for years. Have I ever caused you any trouble? I haven't done anything wrong by you. Now you want to end things just like that? What am I supposed to do?"

Guangjun, with his wealth and experience, thought he could read people well. Yet, he had misjudged Lili all along, only now seeing her true colors.

In the past, when things were good between them, whatever he said went. She was so understanding back then. But now, she's turned her back on him.

Thirty thousand seems too little? Ha, she hasn't even considered how much he's done for her over the past couple of years. He bought a small restaurant for her to run as the boss, and all the rent money went straight into her pocket. He also purchased a storefront for a private little agency, put it in her name, not to mention all the spending money.

And then there's this villa.

What more could Meng Lili possibly want? With all this money, he could date a different woman every day for two years. To put it bluntly, even Hsing Guizhen, who was with him for so many years, didn't spend this much of his money.

Qin Guangjun truly regrets it now. Maybe earlier, he felt a bit unwilling to let go, but now he's had enough. Supporting a woman who turns out to be ungrateful is like feeding a wolf that can never be satisfied.
