Taking advantage of the opportunity to pay some workers, Qin Guangjun found an excuse to come home late and planned to meet with Meng Lili to have a serious talk.

Qin Guangjun was bold and meticulous. While others might sneak around in hotels, he went ahead and privately bought a house to keep his affair hidden.

"Hey, little girl! Where are you headed this late at night?"

Gao Yan looked down at the girl who barely reached his shoulder. He had seen her with a boy at a teahouse a few days ago, and for some reason, it bothered him. He had been ignoring her since then.

Now, seeing her about to go out alone at night, a strange little flame of irritation flared up in him.

"Huh? Oh, Mr. Gao Yan, I have something to do. Let's chat next time, okay? I gotta go!"

"What's the rush? It's not safe to be out alone so late."

"I'm going with you."

Qin Su was startled. What was up with this guy? As far as she knew, he wasn't the type to meddle in other people's business. Why the sudden change?

The thing was, she was on her way to catch her dad in the act, and having him tag along—was that really a good idea?

But Gao Yan was as stubborn as a mule and determined to go with Qin Su. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, Qin Su reluctantly agreed, grumbling all the way about what she was up to.

Gao Yan kept a straight face, but inside, his heart was racing.

When Qin Su led Gao Yan to the spot Pann Hao had specified, the three of them met with an awkwardness none could quite articulate. Gao Yan immediately recognized Pann Hao as the guy from the teahouse the other day.

Qin Su introduced them briefly. Honestly, this wasn’t the time for small talk or catching up.

Qin Su handed the camera to Pan Hao.

"You go take the pictures."

Gao Yan raised an eyebrow. "Is this why you borrowed the camera?"

Qin Su nodded silently, and Gao Yan didn't press further. After a few minutes of contemplation, he asked again.

"So, what's your plan?"

"Once I have the evidence, I'll confront my dad and see where he stands. Ideally, I'll get him to stay with my mom and not go through with the divorce. If he can come to his senses, that would be best. Then... I'll deal with that woman!"

When Qin Su mentioned "that woman," her eyes turned cold, and she clenched her teeth. In her past life, that woman had torn her family apart, driving her mother to despair. Now, with a chance to turn the tables, Qin Su wasn't about to let her off easily.

Once she's done with Qin Guangjun, that woman will have her day.

Gao Yan crossed his arms, observing Qin Su's serious demeanor, which seemed far beyond her years. For once, he dropped his usual serious attitude and gave her a look of feigned indifference.
