C4 Nirvana Rebirth!

Life felt like an elaborate dream, and as Soong Yiren came to, she was overwhelmed by a searing heat enveloping her body. Painful moans escaped her lips, reminiscent of the last flickers of life's flame still tormenting her flesh.

Suddenly, an icy male voice cut through the haze above her: "Get out!"

Startled, Soong Yiren's eyes flew open to discover her disheveled state, sprawled atop a man fresh from his bath.

Clad only in a loosely tied towel around his waist, his upper body glistened, un-dried. His wheatish skin stretched over well-defined muscles, his physique devoid of any excess, his abs resembling perfectly sculpted chocolate blocks. Droplets of water converged into rivulets, tracing the contours of his Adonis belt before disappearing into hidden depths.

He stood tall and commanding, his features strikingly handsome and ethereal, as if each were a deliberate stroke of divine craftsmanship. Even in just a towel, he exuded an imperial presence that was impossible to ignore.

Snapping back to reality, Soong Yiren quickly scrambled off the man, retreating a step. Her feet found the luxurious wooden floor beneath her, the solid sensation sending a jolt through her heart.

Could she really walk? Wasn't she paralyzed? Hadn't Chu Mingyao left her legs useless, confining her to the bowels of a cruise ship for three long years?

The shock was indescribable as she looked down at her hands—radiant and fair, like the finest jade, not at all the withered limbs of her memories. Her tendons were intact, her arms unmarred by the scars of sulfuric acid burns.

In a reflex, she reached to touch her face. It was smooth, though caked with makeup. Yet, there were no scars, and the realization brought tears to her eyes.

The man before her watched Soong Yiren's peculiar behavior, his mocking laughter surprisingly resonant and appealing, "Yu Ruonuan, you're not very skilled at this, are you?"

Yu Ruonuan? Was he referring to her? Soong Yiren was utterly astounded, feeling as though she had stumbled into an immense enigma.

Without another word, the man tossed her into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and strode away with purposeful steps.

The cascade of cold water quenched the heat enveloping Soong Yiren's body and gradually brought clarity to her mind...

She lifted her gaze, which settled slowly on the girl reflected in the mirror.

Standing at about 168 centimeters, her makeup smeared by the water, she resembled a toppled-over palette of colors.

Her figure was slender, her skin fair and delicate, with no scars marring her cheeks and her limbs intact.

Despite the ruined makeup, the girl's youth was unmistakable; she was clearly in her early twenties. Her hair, a rich shade of teal, flowed like a dark cascade in the water.

Soong Yiren clutched her mouth, a suppressed sound emanating from her throat.

The girl in the mirror mimicked her every move: raising her hand as she did, turning as she turned.

In a sudden impulse, she pinched her arm hard enough to leave a red mark, the pain sharply real.

Unable to contain herself any longer, Soong Yiren's tears began to fall.

This was no dream; she hadn't died. For some inexplicable reason, her soul had been reborn into the body of a stranger!

Had the heavens sensed her reluctance to die, offering her this second chance—a chance for vengeance?

As the water continued to flow, the pristine face in the mirror grew clearer.

Memories began to flood her mind, belonging to Yu Ruonuan, the rightful owner of this body.

Yu Ruonuan, twenty years old, hailed from the Imperial City of Hua Country. A junior in college, she was immersed in the hottest field of study—Artificial Intelligence. Her academic excellence had earned her a place in Hua Country's most prestigious AI lab, the MSRA Laboratory.

The man outside was none other than Gong Lingye, the powerholder of the Gong Family.

A leading financial powerhouse in Hua Country, the Gong Family had seen its market value multiply several times under the stewardship of Gong Lingye, who was not yet thirty. His reputation for being fierce and decisive meant he held sway over the Imperial City as if he could turn the clouds with a wave of his hand.

Soong Yiren recalled from Yu Ruonuan's memories that her presence in Gong Lingye's bathroom was no intentional intrusion. She had been seeking out Gong Lingye's nephew, Gong Mochen, the one she truly fancied.

Unexpectedly, she had wandered into the wrong room and found herself face to face with Gong Lingye in the midst of his bath!
