Blanche heard about Anabella’s recent misbehaviors. She told Kehlani about it and both women decided to go see Anabella. They met her sitting alone on a sofa, facing the window.

Anabella barely reacted to the sight of them. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as they sat on the sofa across from hers.
