C25 Not a Single One Left!

Jiang Fann clarified, "The issue is that your current level of cultivation isn't high enough. If a super expert were in your shoes, this Hundred Herb Pill would be virtually ineffective."

Shi Chengtian retorted with irritation, "Are you insinuating that my realm is too low?"

Despite his words, he slung an arm around Jiang Fann's neck, promising to introduce him to a young demoness.

Han Qianxue called out to them from behind, "You're headed the wrong way. The Black Dragon Cave is in that direction."

...

Nearly a month had passed since the secret realm opened, attracting an increasing number of young cultivators and sparking frequent conflicts.

The trio was still a week's journey from the Black Dragon Cave.

They proceeded without incident, with Jiang Fann gathering herbs along the way.

At dusk, they encountered several cultivators taking a break by the roadside. Overhearing them discuss the Myriad Poison Sect, Jiang Fann came to a halt.

"The Myriad Poison Sect has crossed the line this time, trapping a woman in a valley."

"I'm curious about the woman's identity to have provoked the Myriad Poison Sect. She must be formidable, though. After a full day, they still haven't breached the valley. They're blockading the entrance, apparently waiting for someone—looks like they've called for backup."

"It's such a shame for that fair maiden, all alone and trapped in the valley."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Fann's expression turned icy. He seized one of the cultivators, demanding, "Where is this valley?"

Han Qianxue, witnessing Jiang Fann's rare display of anger, assumed it was related to the news she had shared earlier and didn't dwell on it.

The cultivators were about to react angrily when they sensed Jiang Fann's presence. At the mid-Innate Stage, he was not someone they dared to provoke.

The cultivator faltered, "The valley... it's thirty miles south. There's just one entrance, and the Myriad Poison Sect has it sealed off."

Releasing the man, Jiang Fann turned and sprinted southward.

Shi Chengtian let out a thunderous roar, transforming into a majestic golden lion. He raced to Jiang Fann's side, offering him a ride, and together they swiftly made their way toward the valley.

Han Qianxue moved with a speed that was nothing short of astonishing. Shi Chengtian, in his beast form, could leap several meters in a single bound, yet she managed to keep pace with him effortlessly.

Shi Chengtian didn't question Jiang Fann's intense anger; his trust in Jiang was absolute.

As they approached the valley, they could see it was teeming with people. From a distance, onlookers discussed the recent events.

"The Myriad Poison Sect's reinforcements have arrived. Who would've thought they'd bring two or three mid-Innate Stage masters? Looks like they're gearing up for an assault. But who is that girl, really?"

"No idea! But caught by the Myriad Poison Sect? That's a fate worse than death."

"Some have tried to rescue her, but they're now just bodies at the valley's mouth. The Myriad Poison Sect shows no mercy—those guys are brutally efficient."

Jiang Fann surveyed the entrance to the valley. There were nearly twenty disciples from the Myriad Poison Sect, with almost ten at the Innate Stage or higher. He wasn't surprised; the sect was notorious for their rapid cultivation methods, though sinister and reckless, akin to forcing a plant's growth. Yet, they had ways to mitigate the adverse effects, which was why many young people were drawn to join them.

Now, led by three powerful reinforcements, they were charging into the valley.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Jiang Fann, astride his massive lion, burst through the throng and headed straight for the valley entrance.

The Myriad Poison Sect's guards at the entrance barked at Jiang Fann, "The Myriad Poison Sect is conducting business here. Do not interfere, or else leave immediately!"

Shi Chengtian reverted to his human form and, noticing the intense murderous aura emanating from Jiang Fann, realized it was the first time he'd seen him like this.

"What's the plan, boss?" he asked Jiang Fann.

"Kill them all. Not a single one is to be spared."

Jiang Fann's declaration, charged with his powerful aura, echoed like thunder, reverberating through the tranquil valley and reaching every ear within.

The cultivators observing from a distance were astounded. Han Qianxue refrained from intervening, choosing instead to blend into the crowd and watch the unfolding events. She had immense faith in Jiang Fann.

"Who is that? Is he targeting someone from the Myriad Poison Sect?"

"Quite the bold move! Does he have the skills to back it up?"

In that moment, Jiang Fann's hands ignited with flames. The scarlet fire burst forth, transforming his arms into what appeared to be wings of flame.

The ground was left charred in their wake.

Several Myriad Poison Sect cultivators charged at him, their black Qi spreading, a foul stench surging toward Jiang Fann.

"Die!"

With an angry shout, Jiang Fann unleashed the flames from his arms, engulfing the Myriad Poison Sect disciples. The black Qi vanished, and several silhouettes were consumed by the fire.

Jiang Fann passed by without a hitch, as if they were mere obstacles. The figures remained upright, now charred beyond recognition, dead beyond doubt.

Shi Chengtian hadn't anticipated Jiang Fann's formidable burst of power. Frowning, he muttered, "Why didn't he leave any for me?"

With that, he set off in pursuit.

Jiang Fann darted into the mouth of the valley and vanished, his presence still casting a fiery glow. Flickering flames and anguished screams echoed in his wake.

The distant cultivators, who had been watching the battle, were left speechless.

It wasn't until Jiang Fann had disappeared that someone finally voiced their awe.

"Incredible! That young man is exceptionally powerful. And that technique of fire control—what is it?"

"So many unknown masters have entered the fray this time. If he truly annihilates the entire Myriad Poison Sect, it would be nothing short of miraculous."

"We'll find out soon enough. He's already on their trail."

Hidden among the crowd, Han Qianxue was taken aback. She hadn't expected Jiang Fann to possess such martial prowess, challenging her preconceptions of alchemists.

"Such an extraordinary flame, searingly intense. I'm curious about the unique fire that Jiang Fann wields!"

...

In the valley, a graceful figure in white was busy setting something up.

Her face was smeared with a bit of grime, her brow furrowed, muttering under her breath in a foul mood. This was Gu Ling'er, the object of Jiang Fann's constant thoughts.

"Curse the Myriad Poison Sect! The only thing my father left me was this array to protect my life, and I never imagined I'd have to use it so soon."

She meticulously arranged the array, taking no chances. Although she was unaware of the situation outside, the Myriad Poison Sect had a habit of periodically launching poison into the valley. It had been quiet for some time, which surely meant trouble was brewing.

Suddenly, she spotted a flare of fire at the valley's mouth.

Confusion crossed her face. "Since when did the Myriad Poison Sect start playing with fire?"

Then she watched as a throng of Myriad Poison Sect disciples beat a hasty retreat into the valley. Yes, they were retreating.

Before she could make sense of it, a figure burst into the valley, launching an attack on three individuals.

"Scoundrel! Daring to interfere with the Myriad Poison Sect's plans. Today, no matter who you are, you're going to die!"

"Idiot!"

Jiang Fann stood his ground against three cultivators of equal rank, leaving the rest to Shi Chengtian. With his level of cultivation, dispatching those minions was as effortless as snapping twigs.

"Cold Poison Extermination!"

"Black Evil Poison Smoke!"

"Corrupted Marrow Palm!"

The trio launched their attacks simultaneously, their formidable presence catching Gu Ling'er off guard. She hadn't anticipated the Myriad Poison Sect would bring so many masters, clearly prepared to take her on.

"Sky-burning Palm!"

Jiang Fann's aura exploded as he unleashed his palm strike, meeting the three head-on. Flames converged in his palm, his masterful control compressing them, enhancing their destructive power.

Boom!

The explosion echoed through the valley as the three Myriad Poison Sect members were blasted backward, flames licking at their forms.

Shock filled their eyes. Their Poison Arts had reached Jiang Fann, yet only a slight discoloration appeared on his arm before the poison receded and vanished. This was no longer a matter of mere cultivation levels!

"What's happening? Is he immune to poison?"

The trio regained their footing and swiftly snuffed out the flames engulfing them. They realized they had bitten off more than they could chew this time.

Their arms were burned, trembling slightly. All at once, they consumed a pill, and their presence surged anew.

Meanwhile, Shi Chengtian showed no mercy, unleashing his full might. In a flash, five or six disciples lay dead by his hand, including an early-stage Innate practitioner ripped in half by his monstrous strength, a sight that astounded onlookers.

Seeing the three take the pill, Gu Ling'er quickly warned Jiang Fann, "They've ingested the Hundred Poison Pill. It'll double the potency of their Poison Arts. Be careful."

Jiang Fann gave her a reassuring smile, his aura of menace vanishing momentarily.

But as he faced the Myriad Poison Sect disciples again, his killing intent was palpable.

Jiang Fann's gaze was icy. "No one's leaving today."

"Presumptuous!"

The trio combined forces once more, their poisonous energy intensifying after the pill. But against the Medicine King, their efforts were akin to brandishing a blade before Guan Yu—futile.

Dark energy burst forth, merging into a colossal skeleton that lunged at Jiang Fann.

Unfazed, Jiang Fann focused flames in his palm.

In an instant, he was engulfed by the skeleton of dark energy, his form vanishing.

"Boss!" Shi Chengtian bellowed.

The dark energy morphed wildly, and within moments, the skeleton shattered, with flames bursting forth.

Yet the dark miasma pressed on toward Jiang Fann. He stood his ground, poison grazing him, black spots emerging on his skin.

The lead disciple of the Myriad Poison Sect scoffed, "So much for being untouchable by poison. You're just a mortal after all. Kneel and beg, and maybe we'll let you live!"

Jiang Fann's cold stare never wavered as he advanced, step by step.

"Just that? Truly disappointing!"

As Jiang Fann drew near, the poison spots on his body vanished swiftly, leaving no trace of harm. The Myriad Poison Sect disciple gasped in disbelief, "Who are you, exactly?"

Jiang Fann's reply was icy, "Your executioner."

The Myriad Poison Sect disciples realized their peril. "We're no match for him! Retreat!" they declared, turning to flee. But Jiang Fann lunged, seizing one by the collar. "Shi Chengtian, secure the valley entrance. Let no one escape!"

"Got it!"

Shi Chengtian swiftly dispatched three foes before retreating to guard the entrance, transforming into a massive lion.

The captive struggled in Jiang Fann's grasp, only to be engulfed in flames. With a single palm strike to the head, the man crumpled to the ground, succumbing to the fire.

The remaining two, witnessing this, were seized by fear. Jiang Fann had struck with lethal intent, sparing no thought for explanations. From whence had this harbinger of death emerged?

From a distance, Gu Ling'er eyed Jiang Fann and murmured, "Who is he? He looks familiar."

Jiang Fann's physical prowess was remarkable, his movements surpassing others with ease.

A Myriad Poison Sect cultivator who had sought shortcuts was no match for him. In an instant, he had overtaken another.

His strikes were ruthless, meant to kill.

Within five minutes, three middle-stage Innate Stage cultivators lay in the valley, their bodies nearly charred to ash, reeking of decay.

Shi Chengtian had done likewise, slaying all others, fulfilling Jiang Fann's earlier decree. Any who crossed paths with them were met with the same fate.

To provoke the dragon's reverse scale was to invite its wrath.
