C719 Ni Chenxi's Lie
Ni Chenjun wanted to open the door, but he stopped. He heard Ni Chenxi's grievance and dissatisfaction on the phone. He didn't know what to feel. He felt sour and bitter. He felt that he had grown up, but he also felt some heartache.
In the past, Ni Chenxi wouldn't have considered whether he had the right or not to "do you need it or not". He only thought that it was natural. But now, he finally realized that everything he had wasn't supposed to be like this. Or rather, whether he should give it or not, whether he should give it or not, the right to do so was in his big brother's hands.
Ni Chenjun stood at the door. His mind was filled with the image of Ni Chenxi who used to be arrogant and unrestrained, but he had no impression of this seemingly transparent Ni Chenxi.
He suddenly wanted to see the current Ni Chenxi.
"Where are you now? I'll go and pick you up."
Ni Chenxi did not answer his question, but asked him instead, "Does big brother want to see me, or do you miss me?"
Do you want to see me, or do you want to?
Do you want to see this person at this moment, or have you thought about it before?
Ni Chenjun finally realized how fierce Ni Chenxi's tone was today. It was as if other than the first few words of spoiled child, the following words were all aimed at his heart.
After Ni Chenxi finished speaking, he did not give Ni Chenjun a chance to say anything. He only said one sentence quickly and hung up the phone with a beep.
"I'll take a taxi back."
Ni Chenjun looked at the hanging up page and suddenly had some doubts. Was it because Ni Chenxi's mental endurance was too weak, or did he really hurt Ni Chenxi's heart?
Ni Chenxi, who had thorns all over his body, was very strange. He was not the Ni Chenxi he wanted.
Ni Chenjun stopped at the door for a moment. He looked at the screen of his phone, calmed his thoughts, and opened the door.
Ni Chenxi liked the crispy oysters he made the most. When autumn came, he would have to eat three days a small meal for five days a big meal. Every time he ate, he would have a round belly. The sea cucumbers were not easy to deal with, but before he came back, he could make the oysters.
It was a little late. Ni Chenjun did not take too much and only took eight. He washed the oysters, pried open the oysters' shells with a knife, and removed the internal miscellaneous items. He dug out the oysters' meat, put it in a bowl, and marinated it with wine and salt.
While marinating, he started to mix the sauce. He took a small piece of butter and melted it. He mixed an egg yolk with flour and mixed it into a non-granule paste for backup.
Then he washed and filtered the marinated oysters before putting them back into the oysters' shells. He then sprinkled the sauce on the oysters and carefully placed them on the grill one by one. Finally, he pushed them into the microwave and fixed them for seven minutes.
He was very familiar with cooking this dish, so before Ni Chenxi came back, he had a long time to think about Ni Chenxi's problems.
Ni Chenjun sat in the kitchen and waited for the oysters to be roasted. Ni Chenxi, on the other hand, sat on the bench downstairs and stared at the sky in a daze.
He rarely lied to Ni Chenjun. Even if he lied, Ni Chenjun would find out immediately.
But he lied today. He was not at the airport. An hour ago, he had taken a taxi back to the peak of the century.
He missed him very much, so he wanted to give Ni Chenjun a surprise. He wanted to pounce on him and hug him when he accidentally turned the corner, hang on him like a tree otter, and talk about how hard he worked and how tired he was. He would also take out the gift that he had given him as a magic trick and tell him... He had bought this for him with the prize money he had earned from participating in the competition.
He would also pretend to be magnanimous and tolerant and tell him that he didn't blame him... Because he had a very good life in America and had made a lot of friends. He met a kind teacher and learned a lot of knowledge and details that couldn't be learned in China. He saw the world's most famous English original mathematical masterpiece.
These scenes had been playing in his mind since he was leaving America. Like a movie, the scenes played repeatedly, as if they had really happened and not his imagination.
He carefully considered everything, including Ni Chenjun's surprised expression, surprised tone, and warm hug.
However, before he could hide himself, reality slapped him hard in the face. He saw his brother, whom he had been thinking about, walk out of the strange unit. His face was gentle. There was a smile at the corner of his mouth. It was a gentleness that he had never seen before.
He was not familiar with the unit building, but he was familiar with the family who lived on the eighth floor.
He had given her supplementary lessons, taught her questions, had a conflict with her, and even wrote love letters by accident. He even knew clearly what kind of shameful thoughts she had towards her brother.
