C920 God Is too Evil
Ivan woke up in the school infirmary. She had a hanging needle in her left hand and her form teacher was sitting beside her bed.
The form teacher apologized to her and said, "Sorry, I didn't stop your father."
Ivan looked at her form teacher, whose eyes were filled with pain and guilt, and could not say anything.
The form teacher was a woman in her forties and she had a cute daughter. She studied in this school and her grades were very good. She was always in the top ten of the grade. Ivan could tell that she loved her daughter. Because every time she mentioned her daughter, the love and satisfaction in her eyes could not be lied to.
Perhaps it was the first apology in so many years that moved her heart, or perhaps it was that unfalsified motherly love that made her hold onto hope.
She asked her, "What should I do?"
The form teacher said, "The police have already taken your father away. You don't have to be afraid."
Thousands of people in the school had either witnessed or heard of the absurd assault. There were even videos and photos that had been uploaded to the school's forum. Allowing the police to be alarmed was inevitable.
But this was not the answer Ivan wanted. She understood that in a few days, her adoptive father would be released home. What awaited her was another assault.
She said again, "The police can't help me. When he returns home, he will still hit me."
The first time she asked for help from others was the first time she personally peeled away the darkness of so many years in front of others. She was afraid and ashamed, but her eyes could not help but bloom with anticipation and brilliance.
However, the form teacher only lowered her head and said, "I'm sorry."
Ivan looked at her blankly. The star-like light in her eyes gradually disappeared. The familiar coldness from the tip of her feet eroded and destroyed her bit by bit.
One. A woman could not stop a man who was in the prime of his life. She did not blame her. But as the form teacher, Ivan had to blame her. She felt that she said on the podium on the first day of school, "All the students in the class are her children. If there is any problem, she can help solve it."
Because this was the first time she had spoken to her. The first sentence she said was sorry.
Even if Ivan knew that her apology was true, she did not want to forgive her.
She stared fixedly at this kind looking woman. Why, why did she not even hesitate to reject her?
She closed her eyes to stop the hot tears in her eyes from falling.
The form teacher left, and her roommate came to look at her with red eyes.
They said the same thing as the class teacher and also said sorry.
People were always like this. They hated a person because of trivial matters that had nothing to do with right or wrong. They would also feel guilty because of the other person's miserable condition. They were not bad to the end and were good enough to make people nauseous.
In terms of heart, there was no complete person in the world. However, it was fine. Once there was evil, it was no longer worthy of forgiveness.
"I have never offended you, but you have caused me to fall into hell. If one day I die, none of you will be able to escape the blame of your conscience"
She didn't try to avoid her own death, and there were even many times when she thought about how she would never wake up again if she couldn't endure it.
She had imagined the feeling of death, whether it was like now, hunger, coldness and pain.
How pitiful.
Why did she have to suffer such torture? She had asked herself more than once, why?
But no matter how she thought about it, she only felt that the heavens were too vicious. It was just like what adoptive mother had said, if you don't have a conscience, you won't be able to see her well.
She laid in the infirmary for a day before continuing to go back to class. During this period, adoptive mother came once and only gave her a slap before leaving.
Her adoptive mother's movements were too fast, so the doctor couldn't stop her. However, seeing her expression, she became more and more sympathetic.
She tugged at the corner of her mouth. Cheap and useless pity was better than indifference. At least it would not make people feel inferior.
