C940 The Reason Why You Donated

Shen Yi was really shocked, "Where did this news come from?"

Yu Qiu seemed to be very satisfied with Shen Yi's reaction, "Looks like it's true. In the past years, he could see how many tens of thousands of dollars a certain celebrity donated to a charity banquet. Sometimes, he could even see a certain celebrity on the trending list because of donations. But honestly speaking, I rarely saw celebrities being so generous. Donating eight million in one go. Can I ask what you're thinking? "

Shen Yi really admired this program. No wonder she could unknowingly cheat so many big shots in the past. This really turned over her underpants.

"Can I ask the production team how they knew this information first?"

Yu Qiu was puzzled. "Why do you have to know the source of the information? As far as I know, you've been keeping a low profile ever since you donated. It seems like you don't want everyone to know that you've done this."

"After all, donations are a rather private matter." Shen Yi also carefully explained, "I'm still very curious who leaked this information. Let me guess, is it the company?"

Yu Qiu smiled, "I only guessed a part of it. This matter was initially discovered by China's Red Cross because it was said that the eight million was the largest donation in the first quarter of this year. Therefore, the Red Cross wanted to thank the donor and invite the donor to become a Red Cross volunteer to participate in the Red Cross promotion. In the end, they accidentally found out that it was you. "

"But I found out that you were actually very surprised by this matter. Then, can I assume that you actually didn't receive an invitation?"

Shen Yi rubbed her forehead," A little surprised. The company probably also considered that during that period of time, their health was not good. After their health improved a little, they were also busy, so they did not tell me about this matter."

Yu Qiu: "Then why did you think of making a donation at that time? Donating eight million as soon as you donated. I believe that this money will definitely let you experience the feeling of 'going bankrupt' once. "

Shen Yi laughed in spite of herself, "A little. This 8 million is almost all the money that I have accumulated from filming variety shows and movies during that period of time."

" Actually, the donation matter can be said to be a spur of the moment. At that time, I really wanted to do it and then contacted the company to do it. "

Yu Qiu asked again, "What prompted your spur of the moment?"

"Because of a child." Shen Yi gestured, "So short, so thin, and small. She held a candy in her hand and grabbed my clothes to call me big sister."

Yu Qiu said, "Then is this child sick?"

Shen Yi nodded, "Acute leukemia. Only mother can support his medical expenses."

Yu Qiu frowned. "Leukemia is definitely a disease that burns money. If only mother can support the child's medical expenses, it will be very difficult. So this is the reason why you donated?"

Shen Yi nodded. "At that time, you were discharged from the hospital, so I understand the pain of being tortured by the illness very well. I also understand the despair of being on the verge of death. It was because I met him that I suddenly remembered. So it turns out that I can already help others."

"I met them that morning. Not long after I met them, the child fainted and entered the hospital. In the afternoon, I told the child's mother that I can help pay for the child's treatment fees, Wang Yao said." Shen Yi paused for a moment. "I saw the child's hope in the mother's turbid eyes. At that time, I knew that what I did was right. And I also understood that I had the ability to do many things that were right."

"Actually, the one who saved that child wasn't me, but his mother. If it wasn't for his mother carrying a huge family and social pressure, he wouldn't have been able to have treatment to alleviate it. Wait for my help. Now that I've said this, I really hope that child will understand when he grows up. His second life was still given to him by his mother."

Yu Qiu: "A single mother needs to rely on a meager salary to support a child suffering from leukemia. This relies on day and night hard work. It must also include mother's absolute love and tenacity for the child. Mother's love is selfless. "

Yu Qiu stood up from his seat and clapped. "Similarly, I also feel that I must applaud for your kindness and benevolence. You are definitely a mature, intelligent, and benevolent girl who far exceeds your age. I firmly believe that... In the future, you will definitely succeed and continue on this path of helping others!"
