C5 He Only Likes Men!

Gu Chi said calmly, "Depends on my mood."

"Mr. Gu, could I get something to eat or drink? I'm starving," Qiao Mo asked bravely.

"Punk, get her something to eat," Gu Chi instructed a young man setting up a tent nearby.

Soon, a blond-haired young man came over with a bottle of water and a large sausage, grumbling, "Here, eat up. Hope you don't burst."

Qiao Mo devoured the food; the sausage was pure meat and incredibly delicious.

She climbed to the rock cave, grabbed a snake fork and a woven backpack, slipped on her island shoes, and led a group into Snake Island.

Meanwhile, Gu Chi and another man went swimming in the sea.

Among Gu Chi's group was a burly man named Zhong Ziheng. Besides Gu Chi, he was the leader, and everyone called him Mr. Zhong.

When Punk spotted a large pit viper, he jumped up excitedly, exclaiming, "Wow, this one's a real prize, at least nine pounds. The boss's tip was spot on."

The island was quite large, but Qiao Mo knew where the snakes were. The group caught over twenty snakes, and by evening, they returned to camp.

Gu Chi emerged from the tent wearing only swim trunks, lazily asking, "How's the haul?"

Zhong Ziheng said, "Not bad, we caught the big ones, left the small snakes alone."

Gu Chi asked, "Did you get any white-browed pit vipers?"

Zhong Ziheng replied, "Caught two."

"Open it up, let me see."

Zhong Ziheng opened a few white snake bags, and Gu Chi peered inside. "Hmm, not bad. We'll head back tonight and arrange for the plane to take off."

That evening, two bonfires were lit on the beach. Everyone gathered around, grilling meat and fish.

Qiao Mo sat quietly away from the fire, hearing someone call out, "Little trickster."

She looked up blankly, realizing it was Zhong Ziheng calling her. She then met a pair of deep, intense eyes—Gu Chi was watching her, his gaze piercing.

This man had such striking features!

Qiao Mo stared, looking a bit dazed and foolish.

In her past life, this man had died suddenly for unknown reasons. Rumor had it that his brothers killed him over the family inheritance.

Such a shame for someone so young and handsome to die.

Zhong Ziheng chuckled softly, "Mr. Chi, the little trickster seems to have a crush on you. She looks a bit silly, but she's quite pretty. Should I send her to your tent later? What do you think?"

Gu Chi continued to gaze steadily at Qiao Mo and said coolly, "Long legs, slim waist, make sure she's cleaned up."

After speaking, the tall figure walked toward the campfire. Qiao Mo felt a jolt of surprise. Gu Chi had a notorious reputation, but he probably wouldn't be interested in her.

Gu Chi had been sent abroad by his family at a young age and only returned to River State a little over two years ago. To a group of socialites trying to win his favor, he declared that he only liked men. Since then, a popular topic in River State was whether Gu Chi was more dominant or submissive. His chiseled, handsome face and muscular build suggested dominance, yet his smooth, fair skin hinted otherwise.

He was the man both men and women in River State wanted. Despite his infamous temper, which leaned toward dominance, the consensus was that Gu Chi was likely the dominant type.

So, Qiao Mo wasn't worried about Gu Chi doing anything to her. Her concern was more about what his men might do on his orders.

Zhong Ziheng approached with grilled beef and water, handing them to Qiao Mo. "After dinner, clean yourself up. No funny business."

Qiao Mo's heart tightened. This man seemed like he had been involved in plenty of Gu Chi's schemes. What was she going to do tonight?
