"Roman..." She called out shakily, her voice betraying the shock and surprise she felt. Her hand slipped away from him, and he glanced at the spot she held before getting up from the floor.

His expression became solemn as he stood upright and began to walk toward the direction of the pack house. At first, she still seemed dumbfounded, but she appeared to realize he was going
