C7 My face was beaming with smile

Everything is moving smoothly, and I am so excited within.

"I think I have had enough of this nonsense." You just ruined my day and splashed scorching coffee on me. I will deal with you and my cloth, which is really costly. You just messed it up; your father can’t afford it. I will never forgive you for that." He retorted angrily as he took a measured step to leave the house. As I watched him take a step to leave, my face was beaming with smiles.

Is this the kind of man my father wants me to marry—someone who is worse than him? My father is sure to plan a great trick with me.

"Wait, in-law, whatever it is, I will resolve it." I felt like kicking my father. Why would he stop him from leaving gently?

"What can you do?" "Do you know how much I spent on these clothes that your daughter ruined?" "You don’t know because you have never touched that kind of money before." I couldn’t stop smiling, seeing how mad he was with my father. Is this the kind of person my father calls a friend? I wondered.

My father's face was beading with anger, and his eyes reddened as he stared at me. He looks like someone who is going to kill me today. I better leave this house today and come back tomorrow, I guess, but where do I think I will be going? I don’t even have friends around, and I don’t know of anyone that I can run to. People scorn me and my mom a lot because of all the lies my father keeps feeding them with. I can’t stop whooping within me when I remember what happened today.

The old man left our house with his clothes messed up and full of rage.

I caught my mom smiling behind

Bravo to her; it’s all because of her that the marriage did not hold, and we also saw the bad side of the old man that he failed to reveal to us.

"Jasmine, what just happened right now?" My dad's face was so gloomy that he wanted to strangle me.

"Dad, I don’t understand what you are asking me." I masked my sadness.

"Did I tell you that I still want you around my house?" His voice was full of rage.

He doesn’t want me around his house; I don’t like him even a single bit; and I don’t want to be in this house; it’s all because of my mother. I’m taking all this from a father who doesn’t value his education. I’m so ashamed of myself; I can’t read or write. My father is unbelievable; all he cares about is how to please his stupid self.

"Don’t pretend to not know what I’m talking about." I can sense anger hovering around him. He is ready to send me to hell. I’m ready to go to the hell he is willing to send me right now. It’s made me very happy to remember the anger on that old man's face.

"I don’t know, sir." I don’t really know why he keeps asking me that question.

"My soon-to-be in-law got humiliated because of you, and you thought I would spare you this night." I can see the beast cropped into his face.

"I’m sorry, dad." "It wasn’t my fault; I didn’t know when the coffee stripped off my hand." I could feel my body shriveling and a bead of sweat forming on my forehead, which is a nervous feeling I’m feeling right now. I’m ready for my father. I guess I should not fear.

"Did you really think I still wanted you around?" He inquired, his face burning with anger:

Why would he keep torturing me with such unpleasant words? I guess I should plan my way out of this house. I have had enough of my father; one day he might wake up and throw my bags outside.

“Okay dad," I guess in his mind he will be like, "I'm playing with his patience."

As I turned around, I took a measured step into my room; he dragged me From behind, he turned me around and gave me a hot slap. I felt the house swallow me as I cast a furious gaze. I wish I could fight back.

"I’m talking to you. You just walked away from me. Your mom is to be blame for bringing you into this world.“

His words were like a sharp razor cutting off my nerve.

He slapped me again as blood spun from my mouth. Tears welled in my eyes as I cried uncontrollably while watching my mother cower in the corner, watching us.

Poor woman, what can she do? He slapped me over and over again.

"You think you are beautiful?" He pushed me and hit my head on the wall.

"You are the most ugly person I have ever known." He carried a table. My mother could not stand his beating, so she put her head down, and he smashed her with the table. She staggered heavily on the floor. I grabbed her by the side as she fainted blood was spinning from one corner of her head and mouth.

My father seeing her on the floor as blood was spinning from her head and mouth, he left the house immediately. I held my mother's head as I yelled at her to wake up. I have to take her to the hospital. I left her and went to call a taxi that would take us to the hospital.

Finding a taxi was very difficult.

I waited for 45 minutes without being able to hail a taxi.

My eyes started to tear up as I realized my mother was in excruciating pain.

I couldn’t help it but cry more.
