"Oh, you moved, I guess you weren't dead after all....... So what's it gonna be?"_He questions in a playful like manner.

"Why?, why are you.... Helping me?"_I asked confused. "Is there a reason why I shouldn't?"_He answers with a question.

His words were sensible as well as suspicious. He appeared to be having fun.

"So whats it gonna be?, Kneel in front of an unfair situation or take the hands of a stranger".

Xiāo Xue bore no good reason to help her. To him, she was merely a new toy for entertainment but to Meirong he was her one ticket to liberty. Meirong took Xiāo Xue's hand, causing a smile on his face. He paid for everything she stole and provided her comfort by placing his coat over her shoulders. Hearing her stomach grumble, he offered to feed her. Sam was not happy about the arrangement but he complied to Xiāo Xue's request.

Before he took Meirong to eat, he took her to the mall. He couldn't have her eating in a restaurant wearing such ragged and dirty clothes. He bought her the most expensive and beautiful clothing the store had for a 10 year old. She felt uncomfortable by it, however Xiāo Xue insisted. After the extravagant shopping and lunch, it got pretty late.

Politely, Meirong asked Xiāo Xue to drop her off and he agreed.

"Thank you very much Mister, i promise I'll repay your kindness"_Meirong says after she bowed.
