C2 Meet Richard Herenson

"As I said earlier, I am pregnant with your son, Rafael," Alenta explained to the person in front of her.

Director Richard, the father of Rafael who is the owner of the Number One company, corrected the position of his glasses then looked at Alenta with an inexplicable look.

Richard seemed to think for a moment hearing Alenta's words, "So, how old are you in your pregnancy?" He asked.

Alenta opened her handbag and took a photo of the ultrasound she did yesterday at Jenny's place. "About three weeks," said Alenta briefly. Compared than Rafael, Richard looked calmer in response to Alenta's words.

Richard nodded his head, he glanced at the ultrasound photo with a frown, "Did Rafa know about it?"

Alenta nodded back and then sighed heavily, "Yes, but Rafa asked me to abort it,"

"So you want to keep it?" Richard asked to make sure.

Alenta nodded her head confidently, "I asked to meet you hoping you could help me,"

Richard again seemed to be contemplating, there was a moment of silence between them and then he spoke again, "Are you sure it's Rafa's child?"

Alenta widened her eyes offended by Richard's words, what kind of woman did she think she was?

"Of course, I am one hundred percent sure that only Rafa has ever touched me, even when I was not conscious," said Alenta sarcastically.

Richard leaned back and looked at Alenta with a gentle look, "Calm down, don't be angry, I just want to make sure. If it's really Rafa's child, I will help you."

Alenta put on a happy face hearing Richard's words, "Really? You're really going to help me, sir?" asked Alenta in disbelief.

Richard nodded his head, "Of course. Rafael must be held accountable for what he did to you, isn't that what you want?"

Alenta breathed a sigh of relief hearing Richard's words, she nodded her head feeling grateful because Richard understood all the problems she was facing.

"I'll talk to him about this, I'll let you know later," Said Richard.

Alenta nodded her head and smiled broadly, "Thank you sir," she said gratefully.

Finally the problem has a bright spot, she is sure that Rafael must have listened to his father's words because the power of the Number One company is in his hands. Alenta rubs her stomach reassuring her son that after this they will be fine.

With all his might, Richard slapped Rafael many times. The tall figure stared fiercely at Rafael, ignoring the pained streaks etched on his son's face.

Rafael seemed frozen in place, but he couldn't do much and let his father vent his anger. Fresh blood appeared at the corner of his lips, but Richard still slapped his face with all his might once more.

Richard seemed to catch his breath from exhaustion and then cursed at Rafael, "You're really stupid!"

Richard shook his head then sighed, he looked back at his son angrily.

Seeing the anger shown by Richard, Rafael immediately threw himself down, kneeling in front of his father.

"I'm sorry, Father," begged Rafael, holding up his hands.

"I told you, don't get involved with women especially celebrities! If you can't control your lust, pay them, don't even have a serious relationship with her!" Richard growled, he clenched his fists, feeling so angry at Rafael. All his plans will be messed up if Rafael gets involved with that woman.

Raphael just looked down unable to say a word.

Richard threw his body into a chair and massaged his forehead which felt like it was spinning, "So what now? Are you going to marry her?"

Rafael shook his head hard, he knew his father would not agree if he married Alenta.

Alenta is just a woman from the lowest caste who has the good fortune to become a new star, her father will definitely kill her if she makes that decision. "No Dad, I just like his body, that's all. Now that she's useless, I don't want anything else from her," He defended himself.

Richard smiled crookedly hearing his son's confession, "Good, you can only marry Barbara, the daughter of the Johnson family, your marriage will further strengthen the company,"

Rafael nodded his head obediently, "Okay Dad, about Alenta I will take care of it quietly," said Rafael confidently.

Richard raised a hand, "No, no, let me take care of it, you might act recklessly again," said Richard in disbelief.

Rafael, who was unable to refute his father's words anymore, could only nod resignedly. In his heart he cursed, Alenta's decision to contact his father was a fatal mistake. That woman should have complied with him to abort the content secretly. If her father had known about it then he would have killed Alenta too.

Rafael can't do anything, if he wants to survive and maintain his current position then he must surrender to all of his father's decisions.

"Don't make any more trouble or I'll revoke all your facilities later, Rafa!" Richard reminisced.

Rafael nodded his head, "Then I'll excuse, Dad," Rafael said then withdrew from his father's room.

Rafael took a deep breath and let it out loudly. All his plans go awry! It's a shame even though he already loves Alenta very much and doesn't want to lose her. Damn! He should have been careful that night and used protection. Because he was too hit by great passion, he forgot about something as important as that.

Alenta, that girl is different. She didn't want to touch him before the marriage bond was done. For months, Rafael tried to be patient and hold back his lust because he didn't want to lose Alenta. However, as time went on, his sanity eroded, he felt more and more curious about Alenta's body until he was forced to drug Alenta that night, took Alenta's body to the hotel and then rob Alenta's chasity without thinking about the consequences.

Rafael grabbed his hair hard, everything would be over if Richard had intervened. Rafael sighed, now he can only surrender to his life which has always been monopolized by his father.

"I've spoken to Rafael," Richard said over the phone.

Alenta straightened her body, trying to hear Richard's words more carefully,

"Then what? Is he still refusing?" Asked Alenta impatiently.

"No, take it easy, he obeyed everything I said, you can get married,"

Hearing that, Alenta's eyes immediately lit up, she felt very grateful to God because all of her prayers had finally been answered. The status of his son was finally resolved properly.

"You agree to this marriage?" Asked Alenta nervously.

"Of course, I'm happy to have a beautiful daughter-in-law like you,"

Alenta wiped the tears that came out of the corners of her eyes, moved by what Richard said. There is a feeling of pride because he will become the daughter-in-law of the Herenson family, a popular family in this city.

"Thank you, I am very happy because you are on my side," said Alenta with a sincere smile.

Richard could be heard sighing on the other side of the phone. Alenta raised her eyebrows, she didn't understand why Richard looks annoyed, did she say something wrong?

"You will soon be my daughter-in-law, why are you still being formal? You can call me daddy from now on,"

Once again, Alenta was flattered by Richard's soft tone, "Ah, sorry, Dad," Alenta stammered.

Richard chuckled "Okay, we'll talk about all your wedding preparations later. We should see each other often."

Even though Richard couldn't see him, Alenta nodded her head enthusiastically, "Fine, Dad, I'll be waiting to hear from you,"

"Then take good care of your health and my grandson,"

Alena's heart felt warm hearing those words. Finally his crying for several days was paid off with happiness.

"Fine, Dad,"

"Okay, see you later"

The call was then disconnected by Richard.

Alenta put her cell phone across the table and then put on a big smile, she didn't expect Richard's heart to be warmer than it looked from the outside. At first Alenta was doubtful seeing Richard's movements the other day, but it seemed she was too prejudiced.

Alenta rubbed her stomach and muttered softly, "You will have a family dear, don't worry, your grandfather is a very good person,"

A man is seen watching Alenta's movements from behind the wall. He then took his cell phone from his trouser pocket and held it up to his ear.

"All done Boss, that lady didn't suspect anything!"

After saying that the call just got cut off without any answer.
