C3 Trapped In Richard's Scheme

Richard smiled with satisfaction at the reports of the thugs he had paid to watch over Alenta.

Everything went according to plan, the woman had been caught in the snare he set for her without suspecting anything.

All he has to do is execute everything that gets in the way of his plan and everything will return to normal.

Alenta massages the feet of her mother, Helenna, with great care. Today she decided to visit her mother as well as give a good news.

After getting a call from Richard, Alenta worked up the courage to talk to her mother, of course she wouldn't bring up her condition when she was pregnant at a young age, because her mother might have another attack.

For the last two years, her mother was hospitalized due to heart failure, the slightest shock or stress her mother felt would be life threatening. Her father left Alenta when she was young and only her mother struggled to raise herself alone. Now, it was time for her to repay her.

"Never mind, you must be tired," Her mother brushed Alenta's hands from her legs.

Alenta didn't heard her mother's words, she reached her mother's feet and then massaged them again.

"It's okay Mom, I have off today then I will spoil you," joked Alenta to her mother.

Helenna smiled, she gave up and let Alenta massage her legs which felt stiff from lying too long.

"How is your conditions, Mom?" Ask Alena.

"So far I'm so fine."

"Was there another attack?" Asked Alenta again with a worried tone. If she have an attack, her mother will feel a lot of pain in the chest. Alenta had seen it many times and it made her whole heart ache.

Helenna rubbed Alenta's hand, "I'm fine dear, don't worry,"

Alenta nodded her head and smiled, thankfully her mother's condition was getting better today.

"There's something I want to tell to you," Said Alenta opening the conversation.

Seeing the serious look on Alenta's face, Helenna leaned forward, "What's wrong honey?" Helena asked softly.

"Mom, I'm getting married."

Helenna was stunned to hear Alenta's words, "Married? With whom? You never seem close to anyone," Helenna asked confused.

She never heard Alenta talk about a man in front of her, she thought Alenta only thought about her career and health, but married? It's a surprise!

Alenta sighed, "There is a man who really loves me and he wants to marry me," Alenta muttered softly, she twisted her fingers nervously, lying to her mother was not as easy as she thought.

"Really? Who?"

"Rafael Herenson," said Alenta briefly.

Helenna nodded her head, "Herenson? I think I was heard of that surname,"

"He's the son of the owner of the Number One company,"

Helenna was even more surprised to hear Alenta's words, the Number One company is a very well-known company in the manufacture of food products in this city. Alenta was indeed beautiful, but she didn't expect her daughter to be close to the son of the Herenson family. "Jesus Christ, are you serious? Is he really crazy about you?" Helenna asked again in disbelief.

Alenta nodded her head confidently, "Of course, I'm your most beautiful child, I'll introduce you later," said Alenta with a big smile.

Seeing Alenta mean what she said, Helenna smiled too. "You should introduce me to him soon,"

"You will approve of him, Mom?" Ask Alena carefully.

"Of course, if he makes you happy then I will approve of him. Even if he is not from affluent people, I will still accept him," said Helenna.

Alenta felt very guilty for lying to Helenna, she then hugged her mother tightly to hide her nervousness.

"I will hold our wedding after you has finished the operation, therefore you must recover," said Alenta hopefully,

Helenna's surgery will be performed this week, Alenta is sure the operation will be successful and Helenna will attend her wedding.

Helenna returned Alenta's hug then nodded her head confidently, "I will try best for that, I will witness your happiness,"

Alenta hopes that this will actually happen, that her mother will not feel pain again after this.

Good afternoon, Dad," Alenta greeted Richard, she felt awkward when she called Richard as 'Dad', but because this was a request from Richard, she must get used to doing it now.

She felt very happy because Richard wanted to meet her again today, moreover Richard invited her to his private room in the office to make her feel that she had really been accepted by Richard.

"Ah, I'm glad you came, sit down," said Richard kindly, he pointed at the sofa chair in front of her.

Alenta entered deeper into the room with hesitation.

"Where's Rafa?" Asked Alenta confused, she looked around, but there was no presence of Rafael there. Earlier Alenta had told Rafael about his father's invitation, but Rafael did not reply to his message. Maybe he's still busy.

Their relationship improved again after Richard accepted it. Alenta tries to return the lost love back because after all, Rafael is her future husband. She wanted to clear up all the misunderstandings between them before they got married. She will try to live a married life with Rafael as best she can.

"Rafa has office business for a while, he'll come here later. Have you missed him now? You two are getting married soon and you're going to see him every day until you get bored," Richard joked and chuckled.

Alenta raised a hand, "Oh no, I just want to know," said Alenta feeling embarrassed.

Richard stopped laughing then asked, "What would you like to drink?"

Alenta felt bad hearing Richard's offer, "Ah, it's okay, you don't need to bother Dad,"

"Don't be like that, you are my future daughter-in-law, this is the first time you have come here of course I have to welcome you well," Richard urged.

Alenta was again touched by the kind attitude shown by Richard to her. She felt very lucky to have a good future father-in-law like Richard. Richard was like a father figure who had disappeared in her life.

"Okay, whatever is provided, I'll drink it, Dad," said Alenta politely.

Richard smiled at Alenta's words, he then left his office to ask his secretary for a drink.

Alenta waited there nervously, she looked at the interior of the room in amazement. For just an office room, the interior looks very luxurious. The sofa chair also feels very soft, the tastes of upper class people are indeed different.

Richard returned to the room a few minutes later, behind him, his office secretary carrying drinks and snacks on a tray. The secretary immediately put the tray on the table and left from there.

"Try it," said Richard pointing to the snacks and drinks.

Alenta stared at the small plate filled with yellow biscuits and juice beside it. He took a biscuit from the plate and ate it slowly. The biscuit was so crunchy and tasty, she didn't even know what it was called, but it tasted good.

"This is delicious," Alenta said honestly, she chewed the biscuit until it ran out.

Richard smiled at Alenta's words, "Good, if you like it,"

After eating the biscuits, Alenta's throat felt a little dry, she took a glass filled with juice and took a sip.

"So when will my wedding and Rafa..."

Alenta's words hung in the air, she blinked her eyes, why did her head suddenly feel so dizzy?

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Alenta blinked her eyes many times then shook her head, her vision was blurry, Richard's image before her became blurry.

Alenta held her head which was getting heavier then her vision was getting darker and darker and the last thing she saw was Richard smirking and then muttering softly in front of her, "You stupid girl,"
