C5 Vampire Baby

Clara groaned in pain. Celin realized this was because it was time for her daughter to give birth. She summoned a female healer to assist with Clara's birth. Celin accompanied the healer to help Clara give birth.

"Clara, you have to be strong, girl. Push hard. Your child will be born soon," Celin said, strengthening Clara. She gripped Clara's hand tightly. Clara's legs were wide open to make way for her son. The healer was pouring profuse sweat from her temples because she could not see the baby's head even though Clara had tried to push repeatedly.

"Mom, it hurts," Clara muttered softly, but Celin could still hear it.

"Hold on, honey. You're strong. I know you can do it." Celin kissed Clara's forehead, which was already drenched in sweat. Her daughter's body looked frail and fragile, constantly making tears drip from her beautiful eyes every time she saw her daughter's sad state.

"Mom, it hurts so much!!" Clara shouted while squeezing her mother's hand tightly.

"Madam, look at her stomach!!" The female healer said, panicking while pointing at Clara's stomach. Celin followed the direction the healer pointed to, and Celin's eyes widened when she saw Clara's tummy twitching. To see what was happening to Clara's stomach, the female healer tore Clara's clothes off so that it was clear what was happening to her stomach.

Something in her stomach seemed to be trying to pull itself out.

"Mom, I can't take it anymore. It hurts so bad." These are the last words before Clara finally loses consciousness. Neither Celin nor the healer paid any attention to Clara's condition. Their attention was entirely focused on Clara's tummy, which was twitching violently. So the stomach suddenly ripped open, and a tiny hand sticking out. Celin and the healers who saw it suddenly stepped back with their eyes bulging in disbelief.

Clara's stomach was tearing, and the baby's head slowly emerged. The tiny baby struggled as if trying to escape Clara's stomach. The female healer shuddered at the sight of her while Celin covered her mouth tightly to keep her screams from coming out. The baby didn't cry when it finally made its way out of Clara's body. Now, Clara's body is filled with blood from her gaping stomach. Realizing that her daughter was in danger, Celin swiftly took the baby. She cut the umbilical cord that connected the baby to Clara. The baby, still covered in blood, was in her arms.

"Please save Clara," Celin begged the female healer, who was still stunned and couldn't believe what her eyes had just seen.

"Healer, please save my daughter," she begged again, making the healer wake up from shock. The healer stitched Clara's gaping stomach and tried to stop the bleeding.

"Madam, the blood won't stop coming out. I couldn't save your daughter. Sorry, I've tried my best, ma'am," said the healer, full of regret, which succeeded in making Celin gasp. She saw Clara's breathing fading. She couldn't stay silent and just watched Clara die. Suddenly, hope flashed in Celin's mind when she remembered something. She put the baby, still covered in blood, and took something she believed could save Clara.

"What plant is it, madam?" asked the healer when she saw Celin approaching her with a purple plant in her hand. Since Clara dropped them on the floor, Celin kept the medicinal plants. If you think about it, Clara had to experience all this misfortune and suffering because of the plant.

"Use this. This plant can save her life." The healer frowned in surprise but finally complied with Celin's words. She pounded the plant finely, then placed it right above the wound along Clara's stomach. A miracle happened not long after.

The wound in Clara's stomach seemed to seep into the liquid from the plant. White smoke came out of the plant, and the damage on her stomach gradually faded until it finally disappeared without a trace.

"T-This is impossible. Could it be that this plant is a magic plant that only grows in the forbidden forest?" asked the female healer with a look of disbelief, looking at Clara's stomach, which had returned to normal as if there had never been a wound there.

"Th-This is so weird, and… and… the baby. He's a monster." The healer was now muttering with a face that implied extreme fear. Realizing the situation would become dangerous if she left the female healer alone, Celin finally took action. She took some of the bills she kept.

"Take this, and please keep everything you saw a secret. Don't tell this to anyone," Celin begged while giving the healer a sizable amount of money.

"But Madam…"

"I beg you. You are also a mother, just like me. I'm sure you would do anything to save your daughter, right? I thank you for all your help today. Please accept this money. Think of it as a token of gratitude from me. Once again, I beg you not to tell anyone about this problem," she begged again, accompanied by tears this time. Feeling sorry, finally, the healer nodded and accepted the money Celin gave her.

"Then I beg to resign, madam," asked the healer, who was immediately given permission by Celin with a nod.

After the healer left, Celin bathed the baby's body, which was still covered in blood. Then she cleaned up all the traces of the birth. She alone cleaned Clara's body of dried blood. She tidied up the sheets Clara had used as a base earlier, already covered in blood. She wrapped it in black plastic and intended to throw it away or bury it later. Celin secretly breathed a sigh of relief because her husband was not at home. It's been one week since he went out of the village on business, and for Celin, this situation benefited her greatly. Her husband would not know the horrific event she had just witnessed.

She turned her attention again to the baby she was lying on the bed. The baby is a boy and very handsome. Even though he had just been born, his stunning aura was visible to Celin. His skin is white as porcelain. His hair is jet black. She stroked the baby's face, full of amazement. She couldn't deny that this was the first time she saw a baby who was so enchanting, like the baby who was none other than her grandson.

The baby's eyes slowly opened, revealing blood-red irises. Celin was stunned to see him, but at the same time, she also remembered something. Remembering a story her mother once told, none other than Cleo.

"This baby, could it be….?" She gulped her saliva, starting to panic at the thought of something she thought was horrible. She wanted to dismiss that thought, but curiosity made her determined to prove the truth of her thoughts.

She left Clara and the baby in the room, went to the kitchen, and made milk for the baby to drink.

Once inside the room, she drank the milk without hesitation, but the baby refused. He spat it out. He didn't even swallow the milk one bit. Celin finally did recklessly by slicing her index finger until the blood dripped. She collected the blood with a spoon. Then she hesitantly brought the spoon full of blood toward the baby's tiny lips.

Celin's eyes widened when she saw the baby drinking the blood greedily. One proof that shows that her thought was the truth. Feeling that one piece of evidence wasn't enough, Celin decided to look for other evidence.

She carried the baby in her arms towards the window. She opened the window so the sunlight streamed into the room. Suddenly, a baby who had never cried out since birth was crying until the sound of crying resounded in the room. Celin was even more convinced that her thinking was correct when she saw the baby's skin burn from the sun.

Celin closed the window again and kept the tiny baby away from the window. The crying stopped, and it wasn't just that that made Celin widen in disbelief. The burn on the baby's skin suddenly faded and finally disappeared without a trace.

For the umpteenth time, she gulped her saliva in panic. She realized that her daughter had given birth to a very terrible creature. The blood-sucking monsters she knew everyone called vampires.
