C2 CHAPTER 2: I WILL BE THERE FOR YOU

The young woman chuckled before turning around so that she was face to face with the little kid, “darling, I love you dearly and so does your father and everyone else. But you have to remember that in life, not everyone can have a happy ending.

We need to understand that the wage of sin is death and we should be able to accept whatever consequences come our way when we do something bad. So dear, no matter what temptations you go through, remember to live well and be good to others. We wouldn’t want anything sad or bad happening to you.”

Anisha looked at her soon-to-be mom with her big and teary eyes that were red from all the crying and wondered how dull her life would have been if she had not met her and pestered her that time?

“I will be a good girl always, but what if someone bullies me?” she scrunched up her face as she asked that.

It wasn’t every day that one goes out to seek trouble, sometimes troubles just find you and if you don’t do anything, you will suffer. And now that the woman she likes and idolizes, advised her sincerely not to be a bad girl, how was she supposed to deal with this?

Elektra chuckled as she looked at the confused little girl who was probably overthinking for someone her age, “if it possible we should talk about it first and see if the people involved can be reconciled but if it fails, it will be advisable to talk to your teachers or parents.”

Elektra explained softly in a patient manner like a good guardian and wasn’t advocating to deal with the situation with fire for fire. Of course, if one were to look deep in her heart, they would faint and be shocked greatly by how dark that saint heart of hers was like, but this was something for the future.

“But…………..”

“If we were to bully those who bully us, wouldn’t the world go upside down? Someone should have a bigger heart and let us not use our family background to make lives difficult for others too. It will be good if my darling Anisha can make genuine friends and just have a bright childhood. Can my baby promise me that?” Elektra smiled as she asked Anisha for a promise.

The little girl knew that Elektra was saying these for her own good, even though she still couldn’t take it that she had to have a bigger heart and not return the torture of the bullies, she was going to listen to her and be a good girl.

“Umm, okay since you say so then I will grow up like a good girl,” Anisha cheered up after the talk and she was no longer as sad as she was before after hearing the story.

“That is my girl, and remember that this was just a story and not a real-life situation. The choices we make determine the ending of our own lives and that begins when one is still young. Do you understand me?” Elektra wanted to make sure that Anisha understands this and gets this as she didn’t want the little girl to grow up with a crooked mind.

“I will be careful then,” Anisha smiled at Elektra sheepishly.

Elektra was happy to see that Anisha had been listening to her and the words were sinking right into her head and not coming out of the other ear and just wasting her time.

Elektra smiled slyly as she embraced the little girl in her arms. Because the two were not anywhere near the door, there was no way the two of them could have known or heard that someone else was in the room.

But Elektra was very special as she was sensitive to movements, so she was able to notice the very second that lunatic of her man stood at the door and began to eavesdrop onto the two of them.

Of course, this didn’t mean that the words she told Aisha were all for show. She really meant every word she said as it only takes one to experience how awful life can be if you make wrong decisions and live a hedonistic lifestyle without manners.

Kasper stood at the door with a smile on his face as he watched his favorite two ladies embrace together. He had never thought that one day he will be able to wake up to see this beautiful scene as he had never fancied anyone that much to be with her or settle down.

But Elektra was different, from the very second, he saw her, he knew that he wanted her and he was willing to do anything just to have her, even though it meant pissing the woman he loves for it.

Elektra and Anisha finally separated and the little girl planted a kiss on Elektra’s chin since she was too short to kiss Elektra’s cheek.

“I will be leaving now, I have friends to torment online,” she giggled as she separated herself from Elektra.

Elektra was filled with so much warmth and she ruffled the little girls with her fingers. Anisha puffed like an angry bird at her before running away. When the little girl saw her dad by the door, she huffed at him and dashed away.

Elektra turned around to look at the girl that had run away, only to come face to face with her beloved. Her face flushed even though it remained hidden under the veil but her eyes betrayed her.

“W…what are you doing here? How long have you been here?” Elektra asked shyly as she played with her fingers.

Kasper chuckled as he looked at the little girl who had taken and stole his heart away. He was in love with this little girl, he didn’t mind raising her like a canary but he was well aware that some birds weren’t meant to be caged.

If one day, she couldn’t take it, wouldn’t she break away from the cage to not be seen again?

He didn’t answer her but took large strides to where she was standing and wrapped her in his arms for a loving and warm hug. Taking in her scent, made him feel at ease.

He had been following her stories online and they bothered him greatly. She didn’t use any script and every single word came from her head. If she was not that young, he would have suspected that she had experienced everything she had talked about.

He was just glad that she was here with him and that she was his, “you don’t have to be sad, for I will always be there for you and never leave you no matter what.”
