C5 CHAPTER 5: FRIENDS

After the bath, Elektra dried her hair and changed into something warm since the weather was a bit complicated. It was winter and very cold, and Elektra wasn’t in the mood to have Kasper nag her about putting on more clothes.

Kasper was very attentive and Elektra liked him for that. At least he didn’t think with his lower half, unlike other men she had seen, met, and taught a few lessons.

When she was done wearing the clothes, she picked a matching veil from the drawer and tied it behind her head. She found a silver forehead piece and put it on, covering that enchanting birthmark of hers.

When everything was done, Elektra was very satisfied with herself, she was meeting up with her friends. With the semester starting soon, the girls wanted to go and do some shopping, they couldn’t go back to school with the old things.

When she reached the first floor where the kitchen and dining room was at, she found Anisha seated at the table, eating her food seriously while Kasper was busy reading the morning newspaper.

When the two at the table saw her, they flashed friendly smiles at her with some polite greetings. She greeted them back and sat down in her own chair.

“I hope you slept well,” Kasper said with a smile on his face as he looked at the beautiful girl, he was trying to melt her heart for a long time.

“It was pleasant,” she returned the smile as she dug into her cereals.

The breakfast was very harmonious but they didn’t speak much. When it was done, Anisha had to go to school so since Elektra was going to meet up with her friends, she decided to drop Anisha at school.

“How about I drop you off?” Kasper asked as he looked at the two but Anisha wasn’t going to let her dad ruin her morning.

“Dad, if you want to spend time with big sis, then do so some other time but not on my time,” he snorted as she looked at her dad with an aggrieved look.

Looking at Anisha acting like this, Elektra was in a very good mood. She only gave Kasper a look before shaking her head. She was not going to let Kasper accompany her anywhere, the man was just a bore and his cold demeanor could make others freeze.

“Fine, you girls can enjoy your morning alone,” Kasper surrendered, since he wasn’t wanted, he may as well just let them be happy.

One day he was going to make that girl enchanted with him that she will miss him every second of her day and not act like this to him.

Anisha was very happy with this, since her dad wasn’t going with her, Anisha began humming a victory tune. Kasper could only watch as the two girls leave the mansion and entered the black sedan that was going to take them to their destinations.

Anisha and Elektra sat in the backseat and waved happily at Kasper who was also on his way to his car. The car drove off, followed by two more cars with bodyguards as they just couldn’t go anywhere unprotected.

On their way to school first, Anisha kept nagging her to tell her about the next story but Elektra refused to indulge her and tell it to her in advance. The little girl was upset but receiving a smooch on her cheek, the mood returned to normal.

On her way to meet her friend at her house, Elektra took out her phone and began to scroll through IONIQ as she was curious about what these fans were up to. Reading those comments made her smile brightly.

She wanted to give them a story with a good ending but their small actions changed everything. She had a lot of stories to tell, some were good while some were bad but now, she was going to tell one with a bad ending and she was going to find an interesting one.

When the car arrived at the villa where her friend stayed, she logged out. When the car came to a halt she smiled as she looked at the girl dressed in a bright red short dress, she wondered if the other wasn’t feeling cold dressed like that?

“I thought that you will never come, but look at you!” Molly was so happy to see the friend she had not seen in weeks.

Elektra who was just getting out of the car smiled at Molly and shook her head, “you shouldn’t run around like that. It is very cold and you need to put on more clothes.”

Molly sheepishly smiled at Elektra, Elektra was like a mother friend, always nagging but she really liked the other. So, what if she had never seen the face of her friend, she really liked the other anyway.

“I will wear a warm coat so don’t fret. Let’s go inside and catch up while I prepare to leave,” Molly said as she dragged the other inside.

Elektra followed Molly inside, since she had been here before, the servants didn’t find her a stranger and just looked at their young miss’s friend whose face they have never seen before.

“I wonder what our Miss sees in her, she doesn’t even know her face!” another maid just didn’t get it and murmured.

Elektra who had good hearing, simply sneered as she followed the other. Inside Molly’s bedroom, Elektra sat in a chair as she looked at Molly throwing one fur coat after another.

“So, darling, can you tell me who kidnapped you and where you have been these past few weeks?” Molly asked as she kept on throwing cots around.

Elektra could sense the worry and concern in that voice, even though Molly was not looking her way, “it’s your brother-in-law and I will introduce you and the girls to him one day.”

Molly who had been worried that something bad had happened stopped what she was doing and looked at Elektra eagerly, her eyes betrayed her, “you finally found yourself a boyfriend? Who is he? Come on, tell me!”

Elektra chuckled as she looked at the curious Molly but there was no way she was going to tell Molly. Molly was a blabbermouth and until Elektra was sure that Kasper was in love with her, she was not going to tell her friends about Kasper.

“No, dear. Just pick that white fox coat, the others are waiting already!” Elektra brushed the girl who wasn’t happy about this.
