C1 First meeting

It was a bright day, the sun was shinning at its peak spreading lightness everywhere yet the office cabin of Nora fleming was as cold as dark. Her bright eyes were shinning in that flickering dim light of her office, her hairs were black and silky falling on her shoulders and the aura around her could burn someone but instead she was burning for someone and it was none other than her employee, the employee she married just for the sake of her company and on whom name she wrote half of her shares and now he was nowhere to be found. she stopped all her thoughts at once, stood up, got her cell phone and left the office.

On her way home while trying to roll back all those thoughts away driving the car at high speed, a phone call came, seeing it was an unknown number she didn’t attend it but since it was ringing again and again she had no choice but to attend it. But she didn’t knew that this call could change her emotions all of sudden.

It was him. It was him. It was her employee, her so Called husband whom she hated to her bone but her hatred seemed to have no effect on the other side. the voice on other side was as sweet as honey “hello sweetheart, how are you?” The voice made nora suddenly stop the highspeed car in center of traffic and pulled her out from her thinking. There was just one question to all of these sweet tongue questions “where the hell are you?” Yet this question made the other person a bit more angry yet sarcastic “relax sweetheart relax, no need of all this shouting” he said “ since you spoiled my mood i am not going to talk with you not till you personally say sorry to me and that too on your knees and on our favourite spot where we met the first time” and this was all and the call got cancelled “in yours dreams you bastard” yet these words in Nora’s mouth were left unsaid. This made nora angry and angry. She was in dilemma what to think about this all. She still had an important meeting, the decisive one which was going to be held the day after tomorrow and was going to decide the new managing director of FLEMING industries. It wasn’t that nora had any sort of inability or was incapable of handling that meeting or there was any sort of hindrance in becoming her Managing Director but the issue was that there were some important documents which were in hands of her damn husband and she had to get them at any cost. And she had no time.

With all those thinkings and emotions of past nora dont know how did she drove and reached home and went straight to her bed. Without changing clothes laid down on her bed and started crying feeling angry, lonely with her heart dwelled with hate with no idea were those tears were for the voice she heard after 3 weeks or the memories she got after hearing the favourite spot or her foolishness of choosing this man over her whole world or her tough journey beginning tomorrow with all the world to prove her directorship without those documents.

Next day, Nora was still in her bed and it was past 10 and she was still in her bed and was in no mood to wake up. This made aunt sara anxious and she started panicking. It was the very first time in her serving in Fleming house that Nora slept this late.

Aunt sara was Nora’s maid and was working in this house for almost 40 years and was more than a family member. And then again whom could she call her family after her mother died giving birth to her, Nora’s father never married again as he truly lived his wife and after her death his all love was occupied by Nora.

Nora was a bit more mature than her age mates and saw her father loneliness but her father always had the same response and dismissed this discussion.

Her father also left her 10 years ago in a car accident. So it could be said she only had aunt sara her only family member in this world, though she had her husband too but the situation seemed otherwise.

Aunt sara knew that Nora don’t like her coming to her room and preferred silence over noise that’s why she still hadn’t knocked on her door. But those pessimistic thoughts made aunt sara a bit courageous and at the end fighting with her own self she knocked but there was no response. And again waited for few minutes and knocked again. This time there was a response and Nora responded slightly “hey aunt sara i am coming after a while” and mentioned to not come again. This made aunt sara a bit relaxed and she left to make breakfast for Her.

After a while Nora stood up from her bed, mirrored self reflection made Nora a bit shocked, her eyes, those pearl like eyes were swollen and dark circles were becoming more and more prominent. She wanted to smash that man in her mind but after a while she went to bathroom, came back , did makeup to hid her face darkness.Nora was 25 years old beauty, with a height 5ft 7 inches, white skinned and blue round eyes.

She came downstairs and saw breakfast on table but had no mood for it but to keep aunt sara’s heart she took a sip of milk and left for her office.

Those words were still lingering in her mind but her heartache was more than headache.

She reached her office cabin and cancelled her all meetings and in dim light of her office she called that number

On 2nd ring the call was attended and the voice on other side was relaxed and happy “hello, my wife” before she could respond there was another voice “ darling, with whom are you talking, can’t you just kiss me without any interruption” these lines made Nora angry yet she tried acting composed and said “ lets meet and settle it all at once” other side was silent which made Nora disappointed and sad making her think all that wild stuff that might be going there And she thought he might not have even heard her words but after sometime “okay wifey, let’s meet” and call was ended.

That word “wife” never ever in life made Nora filthy that this time. She just wanted to kill him And kill him but couldn’t at the end she thought about something and called her secretary. She wanted to meet him all prepared since she was going to see him after a long time though it wasn’t that long but still for her it was very long time and wanted to end all this situation once for all.
