C11 Love at first sight

After the meal, Chu Liang drove Fu Jinchen to the company.

Since it was already past the normal working hours, the company's entrance was empty.

"Director Fu, we're here." Chu Liang stopped the car and turned his head to glance at Fu Jinchen.

Fu Jinchen nodded slightly. Then, Chu Liang got out of the car and prepared a wheelchair. He opened the car door and helped Fu Jinchen out.

Chu Liang handed the car keys to the security guard at the entrance and pushed Fu Jinchen into the office.

When the receptionist saw Fu Jinchen, she immediately bowed and greeted him, "Hello, Director Fu."

"Where's Roger?" Fu Jinchen suddenly asked. Chu Liang paused for a moment, took out his phone and dialed Roger's number.

"Hello, Assistant Luo. Director Fu wants to know where you are."

After hanging up the phone, Chu Liang immediately looked at Fu Jinchen and replied, "There's a new interviewer today. Since Assistant Luo is the final interviewer, she's in the conference room on the 21st floor."

Fu Jinchen nodded, "Then let's go there."

"Yes."

Soon, they arrived at the 21st floor where the interview was held. Chu Liang pushed Fu Jinchen to the door and was about to open it when Fu Jinchen gestured for him to stay put.

After receiving the command, Chu Liang lowered his hand and raised his head to follow Fu Jinchen's gaze.

"Hello everyone, I am Yang Duoduo. I graduated from Hua Cheng University's School of Economics and Management this year. My personality is lively and cheerful. No matter what task you give me, I will try my best to accomplish it!"

After Yang Duoduo passionately said her piece, she clenched her fists and looked at the interviewers in front of her with her sparkling eyes.

The interviewers looked at each other, Roger looked at Yang Duoduo and said, "Since you graduated from economic management, and I admire Miss Yang's enthusiasm, then you ?"

Yang Duoduo looked at Roger expectantly. After pondering for a while, Roger said, "Let's go to the HR Department for an internship."

The smile on Yang Duoduo's face froze when she heard that. She looked at Roger in disbelief, "What did you say?"

Roger slightly frowned and flipped through the folder. "I didn't hear that Miss Yang had a bad ear."

"Ah ?" Yang Duoduo immediately reacted, bowed deeply to Roger and said, "Thank you, I will work hard!"

"Pfft." Fu Jinchen couldn't hold back his laughter, causing a few interviewers to raise their heads and look towards the door.

"Stop fooling around. She should go to the Ministry of Economy." Fu Jinchen said as he looked at Roger. Chu Liang, upon seeing him, pushed Fu Jinchen into the room and caught Yang Duoduo's stunned gaze.

The interviewers immediately stood up and bowed to Fu Jinchen. "Hello, Director Fu."

"You don't have to care about me. I'm just passing by." The corners of Fu Jinchen's lips curled up slightly as he glanced at Yang Duoduo, "You can do it again in the future."

When Yang Duoduo met Fu Jinchen's gaze, she was stunned on the spot. The beautiful figure before her had a beautiful smile on her lips. Her appearance saved her from her current awkward situation.

In that instant, Yang Duoduo understood what was the feeling of being moved.

"Director Fu is talking to you." Roger reminded her from behind. Yang Duoduo immediately turned around and bowed deeply towards Fu Jinchen, "Thank you, Director Fu."

"Yes." Fu Jinchen responded indifferently. He glanced at Roger and said, "Come with me."

Roger nodded his head, walked to Fu Jinchen and accepted Chu Liang's mission before pushing him out of the meeting room.

A few interviewers also tidied up their belongings and left, leaving only Chu Liang and the absent-minded Yang Duoduo.

"Duo Duo." Chu Liang walked closer and pushed Yang Duoduo, only then did she regain her wits. When she saw Chu Liang, she was extremely shocked, "Liangliang, why are you here?"

Chu Liang felt his temples throb twice. He took a deep breath and patiently explained, "We talked on the phone in the morning."

"Right." Yang Duoduo was suddenly enlightened. She smiled at Chu Liang and said, "You work for Fu Yi Group."

Chu Liang nodded, but Yang Duoduo turned her head and looked at the door of the meeting room, muttering to herself, "But, who was that person just now ?"

The corner of Chu Liang's mouth twitched, he rolled his eyes at Yang Duoduo and flicked her forehead.

"Ouch." Yang Duoduo instantly cried out in pain as she stared at Chu Liang resentfully, "Liangliang, what are you doing?"

"What are you looking at with such concentration?" As Chu Liang spoke, he looked over his shoulder. When he saw Fu Jinchen, his heart skipped a beat.

"If you work here, you must know that person, right?" Yang Duoduo held Chu Liang's arm intimately and asked with a smile.

Chu Liang nodded and glanced at her. With a calm tone, he said, "That's Fu Yi Group's CEO Fu Jinchen."

"What?" Yang Duoduo's eyes widened in disbelief, she grabbed Chu Liang's shoulder and shook it: "Are you sure?"

Chu Liang looked at Yang Duoduo helplessly, but still nodded his head, "He is my direct superior."

"So now you're acting as his bodyguard." When Yang Duoduo came back to her senses and touched her chin, she couldn't help but look out the window of the meeting room.

"I seem to fall in love with him at first sight."

After hearing this, Chu Liang felt his heart drop. She thought Yang Duoduo was joking, but when she saw the seriousness in her eyes, an ominous premonition appeared in her heart.

She knew that Fu Jinchen was not a kind person, but Yang Duoduo was her only good friend.

Chu Liang pondered for a moment and finally decided to persuade Yang Duoduo.

"Duo Duo, that person isn't as simple as you think. Don't be fooled by his appearance."

Yang Duoduo stared dazedly at Fu Jinchen as she automatically replied Chu Liang, "Even if I were to fall into the abyss, I would still be willing to go down with him."

Chu Liang slowly clenched his fists. Unable to hold himself back, he patted Yang Duoduo's head, "He is Fu Jinchen!"

Yang Duoduo replied with an "En." She looked at Fu Jinchen, who was sitting on the wheelchair, and said with a regretful tone, "The only pity is, why is he so handsome a cripple?"

Chu Liang turned and left, leaving Yang Duoduo alone in the meeting room.

After hearing the voice, Fu Jinchen raised his head and looked at Chu Liang. With a glimmer in his eyes, he asked, "Have you chatted with your friend?"

He had been paying attention to his movements the entire time?

Chu Liang glanced at Fu Jinchen doubtfully. In the next moment, he lowered his head and replied, "Yes."

Fu Jinchen looked at Chu Liang, his lips curving into a faint smile. "Maybe I know you better through this good friend of mine."

Chu Liang's heart skipped a beat and he subconsciously turned his head to look behind him.

"Director Fu, I really don't understand the personnel department's work. Thank you for transferring me to the economic department." Yang Duoduo smiled shyly as she bowed slightly towards Fu Jinchen.

"You're welcome." Fu Jinchen returned a smile. His gaze landed on Chu Liang as he said gently,

"Who asked you to be Chu Liang's friend?"
