C5 Boss Showed Up!

At the Binhai Huafeng International Headquarters Building, the conference room was dead silent, filled with the somber presence of Huafeng Corporation's top brass.

The previous evening at 8 PM, the management team received an unexpected notification from the CEO's office. Their elusive CEO, a figure shrouded in mystery, was set to visit the company that very day!

In Binhai, the President of Huafeng was an enigma, second to none in mystique. Three years prior, an enigmatic buyer had snapped up the most coveted business district in the heart of Binhai City with a staggering bid of over 2 billion yuan. Not stopping there, he poured in an additional ten billion yuan to erect Binhai's tallest skyscraper within a year, crowning it Huafeng International.

Within a mere two years, Huafeng's presence surged across Binhai, infiltrating hotel and food services, real estate, financial sectors, entertainment, and film industries. Wherever there was money to be made, Huafeng was there. Despite becoming Binhai's most lucrative enterprise, the identity of Huafeng's owner remained a puzzle.

This invisible magnate had never once appeared in public, his surname unknown. All that was known was his English name: Anthony.

The prospect of the big boss making a public appearance had the entire management on edge, sitting rigidly, their minds abuzz with speculation about his true identity.

Promptly at ten, the sound of footsteps echoed down the conference room corridor, drawing all eyes to the door. A wave of nervous anticipation washed over the executives.

The first to come into view was Jiang Mo, the Group's CEO and Chief Secretary. He stepped into the room and gave a slight bow, announcing, "Mr. President, if you please."

Ho Yucheng strode in with an easy gait, his tall and lean frame commanding the space. His striking features exuded an innate sense of distinction. The assembled executives, catching sight of him, were taken aback. The enigmatic tycoon was none other than this exceptionally young and handsome man.

Caught in a collective trance, they watched as Ho Yucheng, unfazed by their astonishment, made his way to the vacant seat of honor. Seated, his piercing gaze swept over the room's gathered talent, a silent testament to his formidable presence.

His gaze exuded the authoritative presence of a leader. As his eyes swept across the room, the executives inexplicably shuddered, quickly averting their gazes and rising in unison to greet him: "Welcome, President!"

Ho Yucheng was known for his efficiency. He conducted the routine meeting with brevity and clarity, wrapping it up in under thirty minutes.

Rising from his seat, he exited the conference room with Jiang Mo trailing close behind. They entered the president's office one after another.

The office had been designed to Ho Yucheng's specifications and had remained vacant, awaiting its rightful occupant.

Surveying the room, Ho Yucheng settled into the expansive chair with a nod of approval.

Jiang Mo, having worked alongside Ho Yucheng for years, could tell he was in high spirits. He stood across the desk, offering a smile.

"Director Ho, it won't be long before people discover you're the power behind Hua Feng International. I'm curious about the Ho family's reaction when they find out."

Ho Yucheng's smile held a hint of mischief, yet his response caught Jiang Mo off guard.

"The Ho family will remain in the dark. Issue an internal memo about today's proceedings with strict instructions to keep the information confidential."

"You're still planning to keep this a secret?" Jiang Mo had assumed his boss was ready to go public with his identity upon returning home, but it seemed he intended to maintain the facade.

"If I go public, do you really think my brothers would sit idly by? To avoid putting any pressure on them, I'll continue playing the role of the Ho family's wayward son. Besides, with Dad's health failing, family harmony is paramount."

Jiang Mo, well-versed in Ho family dynamics, knew all too well the undercurrents of conflict that ran through the wealthy household. On the surface, there was tranquility, but beneath it, a fierce battle for shares and inheritance raged on.

Ho Yucheng's reputation as a reckless ne'er-do-well was partly crafted by his brothers' machinations.

Had it not been for the patriarch's illness, Ho Yucheng might not have returned so soon.

Now, with the old man's health in decline and Ho Yucheng's deep sense of filial duty, the years of patience he had upheld wouldn't be marred by a few more days of waiting. "Understood. So, I'll continue to handle the group's affairs on your behalf, correct?"

"Yep, everything's just as it was," they conversed.

In the midst of their conversation, Jiang Mo's phone rang. He listened intently as the caller spoke, a look of surprise briefly crossing his face. Once the call ended, Jiang Mo cautiously observed Ho Yucheng's expression before delivering his report.

"I've confirmed the identity of the woman from last night. She's Mo Wanxi, the girlfriend of Shen Baihao, the eldest lady's nephew."

Surprise flickered in Ho Yucheng's eyes. The woman was Shen Baihao's girlfriend? A smirk played on his lips. Things were about to get interesting.
