C8 It Became a Joke!

Initially, she had intended to flaunt her success and rattle Mo Wanxi, but instead, she found herself being chased out, leaving Meng Wei feeling incredibly indignant.

She and her mother had endured a humble and demeaning existence, weathering countless humiliations without feeling much shame.

However, Mo Zhendong and Shen Baihao were a different story. These two had always been the epitome of power and prestige in Binhai, likely never having faced such embarrassment in their lives. They must be reeling from the blow.

Seizing the moment to further stir the pot, Meng Wei couldn't help but speak up. "How could Wanxi possibly know the owner of Hua Feng? There's definitely a scheme at play here. Could it be that Wanxi, out of spite, conspired with others to target us?"

"Conspire against us? With whom?" Shen Baihao retorted.

"With Su Qiqi, perhaps? Wanxi and Su Qiqi are friends. I've heard that Su Qiqi's brother, Su Mubai, is quite close to Hua Feng's CEO, Jiang Mo. So, could all this be..."

Hearing Meng Wei's insinuations, Mo Zhendong was livid, nearly leaping to his feet. "This rebellious girl is getting too audacious. Just watch how I deal with her! I'm cutting off her credit card this instant!"

Shen Baihao, too, felt a surge of discomfort at her words. He was acquainted with Su Mubai, the distinguished and talented heir of the Su family in Binhai, a figure almost revered as a deity.

Had Mo Wanxi really become involved with Su Mubai? It explained why she was so calm upon discovering his affair with Meng Wei. Perhaps she even welcomed the idea of him initiating a breakup.

If that were true, he'd be the laughingstock of Binhai.

Meanwhile, Mo Wanxi, still in a daze, was ushered by the lobby manager into the VIP elevator and into the Drunken Moon private room. As she gazed at the lavish spread of exquisite dishes, she was still coming to grips with the situation.

The Huafeng Hotel was renowned for its impeccable service and culinary excellence, with dishes that were second to none.

Ravenous, Mo Wanxi set aside her reservations and devoured the feast before her with voracious gusto.

After indulging in more than half of the delectable spread before her, a satiated Mo Wanxi rose from her seat. To her surprise, the same lobby manager who had escorted her earlier appeared once more with the utmost respect.

"Miss Mo, your room is ready. Please follow me," he said.

Weary from a day's journey, Mo Wanxi offered no resistance and accompanied the manager into the elevator.

They ascended directly to the top floor's presidential suite, where a butler awaited her arrival. Upon seeing Mo Wanxi, he promptly and attentively assisted her with her shoes, his demeanor the epitome of reverence.

"Miss Mo, your bath is drawn. Please feel free to relax, and should you require anything, do not hesitate to call on me," he offered.

Acknowledging with a nod, Mo Wanxi stepped into the presidential suite. The Hua Feng's suite was renowned for its top-tier amenities, a luxury so exclusive that not even wealth could guarantee a reservation.

Spanning five to six hundred square meters, the suite boasted a main bedroom, a secondary bedroom, a study, and quarters for servants. Opulence was evident in every detail, down to the gold-plated door handles. Though Mo Wanxi hailed from affluence, the sheer splendor of the Hua Feng presidential suite left her in awe.

In the bathroom, the butler had prepared a bath for her, complete with floating rose petals. Beside the tub lay a facial mask and a glass of red wine, ready for her enjoyment.

Her spirits soared—never before had she been treated to such grandeur at Hua Feng. The rumors of the establishment's imperial-level service, which she had once doubted, were now a reality she relished.

Mo Wanxi luxuriated in the rose-petal-strewn waters, closing her eyes in contentment as she surrendered to the exquisite experience.
