C14 I Am Not Marrying Anyone

Ryan POV

It was 4 hours there was no trace of Rieka, I couldn't find her anywhere, where is she hiding, I even don't know where she stays, is she trying to hide from me, is she afraid of me, there were many questions going on in my head this was the third day and we cannot find Rieka.

Ryan was feeling sick because of the journey.

"Are you okay Ryan, if you want we can stop for sometime, you can take some rest", I told him.

"No Dean I am okay we can continue our journey to find her, we don't have much time, the villagers and my mom must be worried about me, I didn't tell her that I am leaving along with you", he said.

"Are you nuts Ryan, why didn't you tell your mom?You left without telling her!!!How can you do this Ryan, how can you be so irresponsible", I said.

"I didn't tell her because she would not allow me to leave the villager, she would emotionally black mail me, you know how my mom is Ryan, you are aware of how she behaves so dramatically, she does all sort of drama to keep me safe, I couldn't let you go alone into these woods, I would be tensed of you all the time", he replied.

"She must be so worried about you, the villagers must be in search of you", I replied.

"We don't know Dean,if the villagers are even safe, don't you remember what the emperor said, that he could come back and teach all of us a lesson, he said that this time two families will be sacrificed, I just hope that everyone is alright", he replied.

"Don't worry everyone will be okay, because now the king will be after us as we are missing from the village, he will assume that we are up to something or we are hiding his precious wolf from him,

I know the villagers very well, they will accuse me of helping the wolf escape, you know how the head of the village is, he can go to any extent in keeping the villagers safe, as I am missing he will put the blame on me", I replied.

"It would be dangerous for you to return back, Dean,'' he replied.

"Don't worry I don't have anything to lose, you know I don't have a family Ryan, who I had is already lost, so I am in search of her, so don't worry about me, if you return back you can put the blame on me, and you can make an excuse that you were in search of me, they won't bother you", I replied.

"I am not nuts Dean, you are nuts. Why on earth would I blame you when you were not the one to help the wolf escape? It was Rieka who helped it escape", he replied.

"How do you know that Reika helped the wolf escape Ryan?"I asked ryan.

"That night I had witnessed her help the wolf escape, so I kept a close watch on her, that's how I discovered that she is a shapeshifter", he replied.

"You kept it a secret, you didn't tell anyone, about Rieka, that she is the one who helped the wolf escape", I said.

"I know how much rieka means to you Dean, I even knew that she is the one who helped the wolf escape, but you kept it a secret, I know the villagers would kill her or even worse hand her to the king, I am not crazy to put my best friend girl in risk", he replied.

"Thank you so much Ryan", I said.

"Don't thank me, I am just doing my duty which all friends do, I even know that you would do the same thing for me, if you were In my place", he replied.

We will put our tent here it's going to get dark, you take some rest, I will find the fruits, mushrooms, and I would go fishing, you just take rest, I said

"I will leave Max near you, he will guide you, he is my brave boy", I added.

I left for fishing near the lake. I was lucky enough to catch as many fishes as I could, I fetched some fresh water and kept it in the tent.

I headed towards the apple trees where I collected sweet apples and some other fruits. I also collected some mushrooms and some woods to light the fire for the night.

I carried my bow and arrows along with me as there were many snakes in the forest which were poisonous, I killed two to three snakes who tried to attack me.

I headed towards the tent and began to cook the meal for me and Ryan. I had collected some medicinal herbs for Ryan as he was feeling sick.

I prepared the medicine and added it to his mushroom soup, I fried the fish and served the soup, fish along with some fresh soup, I also gave a few apples for max along with water.

I had my dinner which I prepared.

Helena POV

I left my house as I promised Rieka that I would find her beloved human to make sure he is safe and help him return to his village back as it is too dangerous for him and his friend to stay in the woods.

He and his friend were still alive as I could sense his presence.

I had the ability to sense any human presence in the forest. Rieka had powers but she couldn't identify which one she has as she is still not 18, she is still a minor without any training.

We shapeshifter get to know about the power we possess when we turn 18, we are also trained on how to use it, I spent 2 months in the school for shapeshifters, where they teach us how to use our powers, I had to return back because of Rieka, her parents had passed away and she needed me near her side, I couldn't leave her alone as I knew that there is no one for her, except her parents I am the only hope for her here, she had me and her parents as her parents are no longer alive, I am the only one left in her live who cares for her, she is just 16 she needs someone to protect her, and guide her, so I left my training school and returned back to the place where I lived.

I had to find her human as I promised to her, and his friend who came along with him in this forest.

I set out to find both of them.

Rieka POV

I Was now alone in this place without Helena, as she had left to search Dean and his friend Ryan, to make sure that they both are fine. I promised her that I would not trust my aunt, her intentions are toxic, she can do anything anytime, without me knowing anything.

I sat near my window watching the surroundings of the house, it was silent, no chaos, just silence everywhere. It was afternoon, the kids and the females were sleeping while the males were searching for food.

I had my own maids who were taking care of my food and clothes, they made sure that I got the best food and clothes.

My aunt doesn't pay a penny for it, my parents left a lot of property for me, so that I could live my life without any trouble and worries.

I didn't tell Helena anything about my encounter with the king, I was not Ready to share this with anyone.

My encounter with the king was scary, he was so powerful that I couldn't stand even for a second in front of him, he was so dangerous, he had the most dangerous look on his face.

He was mean and selfish, he only wanted to be the most powerful Person on earth.

I get goosebumps whenever I think of that.

After a few minutes my aunt entered my room and she told me to get ready as there were some people coming to visit me.

She had brought a beautiful gown along with beautiful ornaments.

"What is this for?", I asked her.

"This is the dress that you will be wearing, get ready as soon as they will be arriving any moment", she said.

"I am not wearing this dress, I don't wanna meet anyone", I replied.

"The maids will help you get ready, I don't want to argue with you, get ready soon", she replied.

"Can't you understand I am not wearing this dress nor I am going to meet anyone, did I make myself clear, you can leave my room now you cannot force me to do something without my will", I added.

"You are staying along with me, and the elderly wolf have given your responsibility to me, so I can take any decision in your life, so I listen to me and get ready, the guest will be arriving at any moment", she replied.

I carried the dress and threw it from the window along with the ornaments.

"I guess you have got your answer, it is my life you can't take any decision about my future, it is not in your hands aunt",I replied with anger.

"How dare you do that, how dare you disobey your aunt, don't you know what the consequences will be, I will be sending another dress for you,wear it and stay ready, I don't wanna argue with you, I have made myself clear", she replied.

"I have also made myself clear, I won't listen to you, I don't agree with you decision, anyways I don't know what you are planning to do, but whatever it is you will not succeed in it", I replied.

"I am your aunt, I can take any decision which will be helpful for you to have a bright future, the elderly wolf would also agree with me along with the other shapeshifters, you have to obey me and accept the decision which I made for you", she replied.

"Get her ready, the guests will be arriving any moment, I will be sending another dress for her, make sure that she wears that dress along with the ornaments", she said to the maids.

"Yes mam we will get her ready before the guests arrive", the maids replied to my aunt. Saying that she left my room banging the door from behind.

After a few minutes she sent another dress along with ornaments.

The maids began to convince me to wear the dress which my aunt sent.

"Why does she want me to wear this dress?Who are the guests arriving today?", I asked the maids.

"I am sorry, my highness. I can't tell you anything regarding this, we are strictly ordered that no one should know anything, especially you my highness", the maid replied.

"It's my order that you tell me everything, I want to know what the intention of my aunt is, I know everything about the guests too", I said.

"Your aunt wants you to marry a man from another place, they are coming to visit you today", the maids replied.

"My aunt wants me to marry a man from another place without my permission, how dare she do this to me, she can't take such an important decision without letting me know anything about this, I am not going to marry anyone", I replied.

"You need to follow her command, your highness, she is your aunt, age will always take the right decision which will be best for you", the maids replied.

"I know my aunt better than anyone in this place, I know that her intentions are not good for me, she will always think the worst for me", I murmured in my mind.

"You all can leave now, I am wearing this dress or meeting anyone today", I replied.

"I am sorry you highness we cannot leave without getting you ready", the maids replied.

To escape from this horrible situation and think of a plan to escape, I need to first get rid of these maids.

"Okay fine I will get ready, you all can leave, I don't need anyone's help to get myself ready, I can make my hair on my own, you all can leave for now that's my order", I replied.

The maids left my room.
