C15 You Are No Ordinary Shapeshifter

Rieka POV

I got rid of the maids and I began to think of a plan to escape from this situation, I cannot trust anyone here, Helena is not here, she is the only person who could help me out of this horrible situation.

Everyone is in favour of my aunt, they believe that her intentions are good and she would always do things which are best for me and my future.

I was now trapped in this horrible situation.

I couldn't get any idea how to escape from this.

The older wolf could only understand my problem, she would never allow me to marry anyone without her permission, my aunt must have not informed the older wolf about my marriage.

The older wolf was close to my parents,she knew them better than me, my dad used to always tell me that the older wolf used to be their adviser, she used to always think the best for our family, we can trust her.

The older wolf was the only hope for me to escape from this situation.

I wish I had my powers. If I had my powers I would never be trapped in my aunt's house.

I peeked from my window glass to see if there was anyone keeping a watch on me.

There was no one near the house, my aunt was busy preparing lunch for the guests who would come to visit me today.

So I had the perfect opportunity to sneak out of my room without anyone knowing.

I had to meet the older wolf to tell her about my aunt and her intentions to spoil my life.

I collected my clothes which would help me escape from my window.

I tied the clothes on my bed stand, and tied it like a rope which would help me get out my window easily.

I sneaked out of my window with the help of my clothes.

I reached the older Wolf's place, I saw her through the window, she was sitting on her coach having her herbal tea. I knocked on her door and she let me in.

"What are you doing here Rieka?", she asked me.

"I am here to see you older wolf, I need your help, you are the only one whom I can trust now, please help me older Wolve", I said.

"Calm down Rieka, come inside and take a seat, I will surely help tell me everything", she said.

"Take a seat, I will get some herbal tea for you, you will feel better while you are having your tea you can tell me everything,

If I can, I will surely help you", she said.

I took a seat and she entered her kitchen to get some herbal tea for me. I waited for her while sitting on the couch. My hands were trembling as my aunt would notice that I was missing from my room.

She would come in search of me, I don't know what would happen after she found out that I had escaped from my room, and if she found it would be difficult for me to escape from that living hell again.

The older wolf brought a cup of herbal tea for me.

She placed it in front of me and told me to tell her everything.

"Older wolf my aunt wants me to get married to a man who believes in another place", I told her.

"Listen Rieka your aunt would always make the right decision for you ,she would want you to have a very good and successful future, she will always think what is best for you , she is your mother's sister, you need to trust her", she said.

"I can't trust her older wolf, that's the problem, I know her very well she would never think what is best for me, she would think what is worst for me, please help me in this situation, you are the only one who can help me here", I replied.

"You should return home, Rieka", she replied.

"I cannot return home, you are the only hope I have, I don't want to marry, I am not ready for this marriage", I replied.

"I think you need to return home, and obey your aunt. She would always think what is best for you sweetheart, if she wants you to marry that good you will have a good and well settled life", she replied.

"No I can't go home, one minute that not even my home, my place belongs in a palace, that's is my home, where I spent my childhood, that is not home it is a living hell, my parents were so wrong about you, they told me that I could trust you, you would always give the right advice you would never be wrong", I replied.

"Rieka go home now, I don't wanna hear a single word from you, I don't want you to be here, leave my house now", she replied.

"Okay just tell me one thing what my parents used to call you", I asked her

"Ahh.. they..ahh used to call me older wolf", she stammered".

"Okay", I replied.

"Before leaving I threw a knife at her which cut her fingers off, and the true identity of the imposter was revealed.

"I knew that you were not the older wolf, she would never speak to me like that , I had a doubt when you yelled at me, that you cannot be the older wolf, because she would always speak to me with respect", I replied.

"Oh yes by the way my parents used to call the older wolf their adviser, not older wolf, so now you're busted tell me who sent you here", I added.

"I can't tell you anything," the imposter said.

You will tell me everything if you feel that your life is precious, I will give you the worst dear, if you don't reveal the identity of the person who sent you here.

"Your aunt sent me here, she told me to disguise as the older wolf, she gave me a few coins to do this", he replied.

"Where is the older wolf, what did you do to her?", I replied.

"She is unconscious, I hid her in the closet and I locked the closet with a spell",he replied.

"I want you to open the closet", I replied.

He opened the closet while breaking the spell, where he kept the older wolf.

I tied him in a room and locked the door so that he wouldn't escape.

The older wolf gained consciousness after a few seconds, I gave a glass of water, she had the water and took a seat on the coach.

"Are you okay Rieka?", She asked.

Yes I am fine older wolf are you okay?, "That imposter had taken your place, but he couldn't trick me", I replied.

How can he trick you Rieka, you are smart and brave just like your father, you have the ability to do anything, but you won't realise it now, when the time comes you will get to know everything about yourself, "I can sense that you are the most powerful shapeshifter, your mom kept your name RIEKA. for a reason", she replied.

"I can't understand anything older wolf could you please explain", I replied.

"I told you right, you will get to know everything when the time comes, you will get to know your true identity, you are not an ordinary shapeshifter, you are Rieka, you will understand what I am trying to say very soon", the older wolf added.

"Could you please get me my stick which would help me walk, I am becomr very old, I can die anytime", she said.

"Please don't say that, what would I do without you"I replied.

"You don't need anyone Rieka you can handle yourself very well, the only thing is you need proper guidance which only helena can give you, others here are selfish, you cannot trust anyone, there no king or queen here to rule the dynasty, you are the princess here, who would be the queen very soon, you have many enemies Rieka, they want the throne and power, you cannot let their bad intention succeed",she replied.

"Why did my aunt trap you in the closet?, why did she send an imposter to harm you older wolf?", I asked her

"I got to know that she was trying to make you married to ordinary person, if you get married you will no longer be the princess unless your husband permits you and supports you, I know that she would marry you to a man, who would never allow you to rule the dynasty, I tried to stop her, and I was against her decision so she locked me in the closet, she knew that you would come to me for help, but she is not aware of how smart you are Rieka, you need to leave now, search your sister Helena, she will guide you, i know you have the ability to kill the Sorcerer", she said.

"No I am not that powerful older wolf the sorcerer is more powerful than him, I am not even his finger", I replied.

"Don't underestimate yourself Rieka, you are more powerful than the king, you have the ability to defeat him, remember you are no ordinary shapeshifter, you are the Rieka ", she replied

"You need to leave now, before your aunt knows that you have escaped,if she gets you it would be difficult to escape from her prison again", she replied.

What about the people here, older wolves?, they would think wrong about me", I replied.

"Don't worry about the situation here. I will handle it. No one will think anything wrong about you, you need to leave now"she replied.

"I will give you a few things, to take it along with you, it will help you in your journey and it will also help you to defeat the king", she replied.

The older wolf handed me a bag of things, she didn't tell me anything about them, she said that I would get to know their use when I am in need of it.

"Before you leave Rieka, I wanted to know one thing from you", she said.

"What you wanna know, old wolf?", I asked.

"How did you reveal the imposter's true identity, you have not taken any training without a training no one can learn how to do it", she asked.

"My father used to read books to me which would be useful for me one day, and see it was useful for me today, that how I could save your life", I replied.

"You are just like your father Rieka, my blessings will always be with you, take care of yourself and remember who you are, don't underestimate yourself Rieka, you can leave now before your aunt comes here, I know she will be here any moment", the older wolf said.

I took her blessings and left the place to search for Helena.

Rieka's aunt POV

Rieka didn't agree to wear the dress and ornaments which I bought for her.

The guest would arrive anytime, I had to get Rieka ready, I told the maids to get her ready before the guests arrived, the maids did as I said.

The older wolf had called me to her place, she must have got the information that I am going to make Rieka married to an ordinary man, the older wolf had her eyes on Rieka to make sure she was okay.

I hired a shapeshifter who was skilled and who could transform themselves into any human, only a fully trained shapeshifter could do that, this shapeshifter had himself trained by his dad who was the professor in the university of shapeshifter, only royal blood could join that University, it was Rare that they would give an ordinary shapeshifter to enter that University.

The shapeshifter whom I hired got to my place on time. I instructed him what to do.

I told him that after he got rid of the elderly wolf, he would take her place, and convince Rieka to listen to him and marry the man whom I chose for her.

Reika would always obey the elderly Wolf, I knew that she would escape and ask help to the elderly wolf.
