C20 My Son Is Alive

The kings POV

I am emperor Benjamin, the king of the rising dynasty, I am a Sorcerer and I want to be the most powerful Person on earth for that I need to restore my powers, I need the shapeshifters charm, to restore my power, or to sacrifice a family from the wolf hunter village, I have captured many charms, but I have still not found the one that I need, the charm of the most powerful shapeshifter, 16 years ago, I had found the shapeshifter who was the most powerful one I was so close in getting her charm, but she killed herself in front of me, before dying she gave me a curse that I would be soon dead by the next shapeshifter who will process her power, she was old so she couldn't fight me, so she decided to kill herself instead of giving her charm to me.

I am in search of that shapeshifter who has that charm, which possesses the powers of many shapeshifter, I told the villagers to hunt a wolf, and by the end of the month they should hand over the wolf to me alive, if the wolf dies the charm disappears, I need the shapeshifters alive, to possess their charm I need to capture their soul in it, that is how the charm won't disappear, but those charms are not enough for me to restore my powers I need more of them, but if I get the most powerful charm, I can be immortal, I will never die, and I will be one of the most powerful and dangerous Sorcerer, everyone will be afraid of me, I will have all of them under my feet.

My soldiers brought a wolf along with them.

They placed the wolf in front of me,

"All of you can leave this room, I want some privacy", I replied. They did as I told them to do.

I headed towards the Wolf, when I looked closely it was an ordinary wolf not a shapeshifter that I needed. In a fit of rage, I removed my knife, and cut of its head.

I called out to my soldiers who had brought this ordinary wolf to me.

This is not the wolf that attacked me in the village

"I asked you to searched that wolf who attacked me in the village", I asked my soldiers,

"No my lord we have not found that wolf, we searched for it everywhere, but we couldn't find it", my soldiers replied.

"This is an ordinary wolf, I don't need this one", I yelled at them.

"Your majesty, you told us to get a wolf, we just followed your orders", they replied.

"Have you found the boy who is Missing from the village, he might have some idea about that wolf, I want that boy or the wolf, find them, if you are unable to find them, I will appoint someone else, but you will lose your life In return, I don't want soldiers who are useless and not worth", I said to the soldiers.

"Your majesty, give us some time, we will find the wolf in a month,and we will present it in front of you",they replied.

"Remember the wolf has to be alive, if it is dead you will be dead", I replied with a cold voice.

"Yes your majesty, we will take our leave now", saying that they left the courtroom.

I don't have much time, I need to restore my powers, I need to find that charm and that shapeshifter.

I am 100% sure that the boy knows where the shapeshifter is, he can also have the information about their hiding spot. Once I get to their hiding spot, I can easily capture their charms and their soul.

I am eagerly waiting for that day to arrive, and that day will arrive soon.

I sensed some strong powers from the wolf that attacked me, she might be the shapeshifter who I am in search of, but for that I need to get the boy, who has disappeared.

I arranged for food, and I took it along with me to the secret door, the secret door led me to another room, I placed the food near the prison for the prisoner.

"You will pay for all of your sins Benjamin, I trusted you and you betrayed me, once I get out of this prison you will have to face your death Benjamin",the prisoner said.

I am not afraid of you, you are not that powerful than me, you deserve this, you deserve worst, but I am the man who have a heart, so I kept you alive, otherwise you would be dead, eat something,gain some strength, you need to be healthy, you know very well for what", I replied.

"Why don't you kill me Benjamin, instead of making me suffer here", he replied.

You know I can't do that, I wish I could, but I need you alive by the next bloody full moon, I can't kill you, I need you alive", I replied.

I left the place and locked the secret door,

Keep a watch that no one enters this room," Don't let anyone come near it, or get to know anything about this secret passage", I told one of my most trusted soldiers.

"Don't worry your majesty, no one will get to know anything about this secret door", my soldier replied.

"Keep a watch on him, Don't let anything happen to him, I need him alive and healthy, see to that he finishes his food", I told my soldier.

"I will keep a close watch on him your majesty, don't worry about that prisoner", he replied.

"You will be soon awarded for your work", saying that Left the room.

I headed towards my dining room to have my dinner, the maids had prepared the meat from the wolf that was hunted by my soldier. This wolf couldn't restore my powers but it could be a good meal for tonight's dinner.

Authors POV

At the village

Ryan's mother was worried about him, as he was missing for two days, they searched for him everywhere, everyday, but they couldn't find him.

The villagers accused Dean, they assumed that Dean was responsible for the escape of the wolf, and they had to sacrifice one of their family members to the emperor because of dean.

Ryan's mom blamed Dean for the disappearance of her son Ryan. He was last seen in Dean house along with Dean and then he went missing.

"My son is Missing from 3 days, please do something, I don't know even if he is fine, I cannot live without my son Ryan, please search for him", his mother said to the village head.

"We are trying our best to find Ryan,but we couldn't find him anywhere nor we could find dean, he must have taken Ryan along with him, or may be they are dead, because no one could ever return from the woods when it turns dark, you know very well what happens in the dark, he is dead,", the village head replied.

"My son is not dead, he is a brave boy, I know he is alive, we need to search him, he will need our help, I have no one except my son, my husband is dead too, he is my family, I need the villagers help to find him please understand my situation, please help", his mother replied.

"We are trying our best, but we cannot help you anymore. It has already been 3 days and he has not yet returned. I am afraid to say this but your son is dead along with dean", they replied.

"I don't care if Dean is dead or alive, I want my son to be alive, I want my son here, if you villagers won't help, I will go in search of him alone, I don't need your help", his mother replied.

"We can't let you go in the woods alone, it is dangerous out there, I am the village head it is my duty to keep the villagers safe, I cannot grant you the permission to enter the woods, you are old, you need to stay in the village, you will not be able to find the wild beasts who are waiting for us in the woods, stay in the village, it is better for a of us and for you, your son will return soon of he is alive, you said your son is brave, so he will return soon"the village head replied to Ryan's mom.

"You are the village head, you have to save my son's life, you are my only hope, please help,or please let me find my son on my own, I don't need your help", she replied.

"We will try finding him tomorrow but if we cannot find him anywhere I am sorry, we cannot help you anymore, we will give our last try Tomorrow, we cannot risk our villagers life for your son, many lives are at risk, please understand, it's your son's mistake, he left the village with his own wish, we cannot do anything because of this, the village head said to Ryan's mom.

Dean POV

Helena sensed something really bad, she said that the non vegetarian shapeshifters are heading towards us and they are getting close, we need to leave this place, as it is dangerous for us to stay in the same place for a long time.

Ryan didn't like Helena nor did Helena like Ryan. He nagged about her the whole way. Honestly I was tired of both of them, I just listened to both of them. I tried to make Ryan understand, but he was not ready to understand anything.

Finally the shapeshifters were not after us, we made our tenta ready, and I got ready to sleep, Helena and Ryan would watch over the night.

I slept in my tent, as Helena and Ryan would watch the night and I had to not worry.

Suddenly after a few minutes my sleep was disturbed, when I woke up, I heard Ryan and Helena yelling. When I got out, I saw that we were surrounded with some people, they were dressed with torn clothes, the colour of their clothes were faded and it was covered with blood stains.

"What is going on, who are these people", I asked Helena.

"They are the shapeshifters, they followed us, through our scent", she replied.

"You told us that we have got rid of them, then why are these people here", I asked her.

"I have no idea how they got here, but now we need to fight them, orelse we will be their dinner tonight",she replied.

"They are very powerful, how can we send them?", I asked her.

"Let me think ,how we can get rid of them,''she replied.

"We have no time to think Helena, whatever it is we need to be quick", I replied.
