C20

Faang Ruxiu didn't say anything. She just finished her cup of tea and asked him to return it. The air in this place was fresh and fresh. Although it was just ordinary tea leaves, the taste was not bad.

After drinking a cup of hot tea, Faang Ruxiu felt her body warming up a lot as she walked a few rounds around the yard with Faang Yicheng.

It was an ordinary courtyard with over ten rooms divided into the main house and the side room. There were three main rooms in total. One in the middle room was to entertain guests and eat. The other room was for Faang Changliu.

There was an east wing and six rooms. Uncle Faang Ruxiu's family and Uncle Wu's family lived in the east wing, while Uncle Fourth Uncle's family stayed in the west wing and Faang Ruxiu's family in the west wing.

The house in the east and west wing was built from the back. It was a bit newer than the one in front, but it was also a bit smaller than the one in front. This courtyard didn't look that big anymore, and there were a lot of houses as well. However, with so many people crowded here, when Faang Changliu got married, there would be no more houses to live in. Even if this courtyard was full of houses, there would be no place to build another one.

Faang Ruxiu noticed that the front yard was very flat, it could be used to dry food during the harvest, and in the back yard were some vegetables, and some chickens. These chickens were under Lady Yu's personal care, the source of her family's pocket money.

This family is really poor. This was the conclusion Faang Ruxiu came up with after she had gone through a round. Although there were many houses, all of them were dilapidated. Other than the main house, which was built with mud bricks and seemed to be slightly taller, the rest of the houses were made of mud. Faang Ruxiu was worried that if it rained heavily one year, the house might collapse.

In her own room, for instance, the roofs were full of broken reed mats, some of them hanging long. Previously, she was sick, but now that she thought about it, she was actually a bit scared. Could it be that there were spiders that crawled down from the reeds to bite her? After all, this kind of house was the easiest to hide bugs.

What about blue brick and black tiles? She didn't ask for anything else but to live in a better place. But now, it seemed that she was also hoping for an extravagant thing. However, she came from a pretty good family, and could be considered to have a private room.

As far as the second room was concerned, she lived in one room, Faang Changfu and Lady Ye lived in one room, and the other room was occupied by Faang Yizheng and the other two brothers.

"Elder sister, what are you thinking about?" Seeing that Faang Ruxiu stood and looked at her own house, Faang Yicheng pulled on her sleeve and asked.

"I didn't think anything of it. When will you grow up when I'm in Little Fourth?" Faang Ruxiu didn't want to talk about family matters with a child, so she carelessly coaxed him.

"Little Fourth has already grown up. Mom, you know, yesterday was the first time I was a big child." Faang Yicheng looked up at Faang Ruxiu and said.

"Alright, alright. I know that our Little Fourth is already a big child, so Little Fourth will listen to his sister, right?" Faang Ruxiu said.

"Yes." Faang Yicheng nodded heavily again.

"Sister, it's time to eat." While Faang Ruxiu was teasing Faang Yicheng, Faang Yizhi came over and called out.

"Ah, it's time to eat. Then let's leave quickly." As Faang Ruxiu spoke, she disregarded her image and ran back to the main house. She didn't have to eat, but she couldn't starve her third and fourth brothers.
