” get out of my way” peace said and pushed him away. ” Where are you going to?” Ben asked. ” Am going to where you sent me” peace replied.

” I will go with you” Ben said. ” do I look like code to you?” peace asked. ” I knew you aren’t code, I just wanna go with you, because am sure you’re going to her place” Ben said.

” I thought you said you’re just coming from her place?” peace asked. ” yeah, she’s not at home and am sure you knew where she’s” Ben said.

” you must be crazy” peace said and walked away. ” wait up…” Ben said and ran after her.

” Hi, am Jeff and am here to see code” Jeff said.

” oh welcome handsome, but code isn’t around” Pamela replied with a smile.

” f*ck, I have been calling her number for the past two days and isn’t recheable, hope she’s fine?” Jeff asked.

” who are you to her?” Pamela asked. ” Am her friend” Jeff replied. ” oh, codelia isn’t fine she’s in the hospital” Pamela replied. “what!” Jeff asked.

” yeah, she has been in the hospital for the past two days” Pamela replied.

” no wonder, what happen to her, and can you kindly give me the hospital address?” Jeff asked.

” oh, you’re very lucky because am on my way to the hospital” Pamela replied. ” wow, that’s nice” Jeff said.

” Are you the owner of that car?” Pamela asked pointing to Jeff car. ” yeah, let go” Jeff replied. ” oh, my transport fare is safe” Pamela said.

Madam Cassie sat on the floor and face palm herself. Chad look at her and felt pity for her, he move closer to her and raised her head up with his hand.

” what are you doing here?” madam Cassie asked cleaning her tears. ” Am here to console you” Chad said.

” thank you I don’t need you, just pray to God that my baby survive the operation” madam Cassie said.

” Madam, am sure you’re just trying to be strong, I just want you to know she will be fine, we are in this together” Chad said and madam Cassie raised her head up to look at Chad.

she smiled at h and Chad clean her tears with his palm and also smiled at him. rose and Vivian walked inside the hospital and they were surprised to see Chad, cleaning madam Cassie tears.

rose clear her throat and Chad remove his hand from her face. “what are you doing here?” Chad asked.

“I brought food for you and your friend mum” rose said and Chad look at madam Cassie. “madam, you need to eat” Chad said.

“She’s not an outsider, I like her” Chad said and madam Cassie look into his face ansmile.

“And why did you come here with her!” Chad asked point to Vivian. “she said she wanna come with me” rose said. “she should stop following you, like an obedient goat” Chad said.

” Ahh that’s too harsh” madam Cassie said. ” I don’t just like her” Chad muttered and went to sit down.

” madam come and sit here” Chad said and madam Cassie move closer to him. the doctor came out with a smile on his face and madam Cassie stood up immediately.

” Doctor, how’s the operation hope my daughter is fine” madam Cassie asked, trying to go to the room the doctor came out from.

“madam, relax she’s fine but you can’t go to the ward we will move her to another ward ten minutes time” the doctor said. “Are you sure, my daughter is fine?” madam Cassie asked.

“yes she’s, she’s a very strong lady” the doctor said and madam Cassie jumped up happily. “can you eat now?” Chad asked. “No I need to see my daughter first, I don’t trust the doctor” madam Cassie replied.

“oh, you need to trust me, code is like a daughter to me” the doctor said. “I Know and I really appreciate your effort, you’re a good doctor thanks for saving my daughter” madam Cassie sdoctor “you’re welcome madam, I just did it because I like her” the doctor said. “you can just go straight to the point, tell us you love her” Chad said and the doctor smile.

“I thought we have talked about this before, I don’t love her am only doing this for God” the doctor said. ” thank you very much doctor Steve, don’t mind him” madam Cassie said.

” she need Alot of rest and food to regain her lost strength” the doctor said. “Thank you doctor” madam Cassie replied. ” And one more thing, there’s a good news your daughter is few days pregnant” the doctor said.

” what..” pregnant, what have I done to myself” madam Cassie said and placed her hand on my head. “Doctor, you mean code is pregnant” Jeff said said entering the hospital.

“who’s he?” Chad asked madam Cassie.

“Am the father of code unborn baby” Jeff replied.
