C174

Which one of the magical beasts was the smartest? Some might say goblins, because they not only had strange alchemy, but could also produce a great deal of technology; of course, some might say humans thought they were the best at scheming; some might say the Fearsome Demon King, because they could induce the fall of other creatures; and some might say Delaney, whose magical civilization far exceeded the ten thousand years of the night elves, had no less than ten thousand kinds of magic. However, there was another answer, which was very novel. That was the dwarf.

Why is it that dwarves are the smartest race of magical beasts? They were no more powerful than the goblins in making machines, no more scheming than humans, no more deceitful than the Fearful Devil, and no more civilized than Delaney. In the instance dungeon, the ultimate BOSS was a machine in Normorgen. Other than the Water Elementals, the other BOSSes were also machines, and these machines had become powerful killing weapons in the hands of the midget who had been infected by the virus. In the game, those machines had been underestimated, and if there was such a machine in the real world, it would take thousands of people to get rid of them.

If it weren't for Hendrall, the Goblin's mechanical tiger would not have existed. Although the mechanical tiger was also a product of the robot's intelligence, it had some magical components within it, and was not complete mechanical intelligence. It relied entirely on magic to complete its actions, and was one level lower than the dwarf's mechanical bird, let alone the peak-level gnome robot.

The city of the dwarf was Normorgen, in the western part of Damoroth, next to the dwarven castles of the Iron Cauldron, but not in the Catalan Mountains, but on another unknown mountain. Like the Iron Cauldron, Normorgen had been built underground, and the dwarven castles of the Iron Cauldron were in fact in the mountains, which did not seem to be much of an underground city compared to Normoregan. Normorgen was the real city of the underworld, and when you went down, you had to take the elevator down to get to the real Normorgen, which was just a gate.

Dwarves were short, much shorter than dwarves, so their targets were small and they were good at concealment. They were born to be escape experts, and they had created their own engineering.

Finally, one day, the gnomes officially built the gates of Normoregan. From then on, they would walk out of the underground Normoregan and see the real world. The dwarves from before were underground creatures, but they had very special genes. They evolved very quickly and had high intelligence. They had been building their own world ever since they were thousands of years old. They knew that the world could be expanded when they excavated, so they quickly excavated ores and built their homes in the space left behind by the excavation. After that, as their city continued to expand, they understood that the world might be bigger. They really wanted to prove this point, so they evolved under this desire. They evolved into adults.

Then they used their high IQ to develop what belonged to them, and machine intelligence was born, engineering was born. With engineering, the whole of Normorgen was lit up by electricity and light bulbs. Of course, they would find the bulbs dazzling, so they evolved again to make their eyes unable to adapt to the darkness, which allowed them to adapt to the existence of light bulbs. Laziness catalyzed the development of machine intelligence as much as possible, so a dwarf invented a computer. With a computer, those machines could move automatically after pressing one or two buttons, and would no longer be controlled by the dwarves. The dwarves would then once again invest more effort into the research of machine intelligence, because they could control those machines without moving, and so they had the remote control.

But the gnomes' good days did not go on as they had thought, because the mines at Normorgen were gone, and they would not have more materials to experiment with and make machines, so the gnomes looked for other resources.

At this moment, a machine broke the surface of the ground, and the dwarf finally saw the light of day. When the dwarves stood at the spot where the hole was made, looking to the east, they saw the boundless world that was below them. At this moment, they realized how childish they used to be.

However, after living underground for a long time, the dwarves were unable to get used to the large amount of oxygen in the air, so they just took a quick glance and quickly retreated. But even so, Normorgen still entered a large amount of air and the change in air caused a lot of the dwarves to die, but most of the dwarves still managed to evolve their lungs.

After two years of construction, the door of Normorgen was finally completed so that the dwarves could finally come out. Soon enough, many dwarves walked out of Normorgen out of curiosity, but they all retreated after walking for a short distance because they had encountered some wild beasts. The advantage of being short was evident when they had encountered them, as they had dodged many wild beasts' attacks, but there were still dwarves who had died in their jaws.

Due to their short stature, the swords they created were no different from daggers. Other than a few Dwarves, they were not able to defeat wild beasts. These Dwarves were very powerful, so this method was not suitable for Dwarves. Under the meticulous research of the midget, they finally found a weapon that could fight against those wild beasts. It was a spear.

The firearms were actually created by the Dwarves and Goblins. However, the characteristics of the firearms were different for the two races. Because the Goblins had alchemy skills, their firepower was great. However, the bullets in their firearms were very rough. Dwarves had engineering skills, so their bullets were very fine, but the gunpowder was not powerful enough. In general, the firearms of both races were average, only after the Alliance obtained the gunpowder formula from the Gnomes did the power of the guns increase and become a sharp weapon. Moreover, it was able to expand the power of the guns among the dwarves, making them more powerful in a way that made them able to move backwards, making the gnomes and dwarves have less strength than the dwarves who were born with god powers.

With the guns, the dwarves now had weapons they could defend themselves with. They officially left Normorgen and stepped into the world on the surface.
