C4 Kidnapped...

That was now part of her. Each single chance she's got, she'd spend it with Scott. They were beginning to see each other as a family. Like brothers and sisters.

She had promised him a surprise. Just as she came visiting this time, she kept to her promise.

A surprise as she calls it...

"Ta-da!!"

She gave him the present. He was over joyed at the sight despite that he haven't seen what was inside.

"What's in it?" He asked.

"I don't know. Why don't you check it yourself."

He tore out what they had used to wrap the present. Mr Smith was anxious at what was inside and the way Scott opened it, got him anxious the more.

What can he say but to stare...

Finally, he got the package lossed. He looked at his father for awhile then to Myra who has already bathed her face with a huge smile.

"I... I really don't know what to say." He said overwhelmed by the present.

" It doesn't matter, okay? Just made sure I kept my promise and,,, your happy. "

He managed to stand up giving her a warm long hug. That was all she'd wanted, to watch him smile was her aim for now, forgetting about his situation.

He couldn't help staring at the full potrait of the both of them. She spent a lot of money for a neat drawing.

He was happy... Of course, he is...

And she was happy too ...

Mr Smith couldn't help either, he was beginning to see themselves as one family. With the three of them together, unity is assured.

She had spent a lot of time with him that she didn't know when darkness surfaced.

Now, she was left with him alone. Mr Smith was already off to bed. She kept staring at the moon, she loved it.

She always does that since she was little. Her mother made her believe that the moon was a place a souls that were taken temporally stays. And if she dies one day her soul would live there while she watches her children.

Those believes never left her. It's been eight years she's lost her family, yet, she knew their soul were up there watching over her.

She smiled...

He smiled too like he was reading her mind. "What are you thinking about?" He asked her.

She smiled again, "nothing. Just... Thinking about my family. I really miss them, a lot. "

" I know I haven't gotten the chance to talk about it. Do you mind? "

She nodded..." It was eight years ago, I was eighteen then. We were returning from vacation when our vehicle made contact with a incoming lorry. I can't remember what happened at that instant but I knew I fell unconscious. Everywhere were covered in blood... Our blood." She licked her lower lip," you know, people said I wasn't gonna make it either. That my condition was by luck I'd survive. And I did... I was the only survival of the incident. I stayed with my uncle for a year. He... almost molested me but I didn't want to be a reason for their breakup so I had to leave. I had to run. Somewhere far away, somewhere I could take care of myself. "

" I'm so sorry for your lost. You've gone through a lot and I understand that."

" I know. And I believe I've got stories to tell. But now I've found another home, another love, I believe that's another good story to tell too. You, your father and I, together we can make it. I'm very happy to have you to in my life. "

She turned to him, she hugged him. She wasn't wrong when she said she's found another home, another love. It was just a fact of truth.

He hugged her back, more tight...

She made sure Scott has gone to bed before she left. She kissed him on his forehead before leaving his room. "Good night, Scott."

About to leave, he held her hand. She stopped turning to him.

"Promise me. Promise me you'll come again."

" I will come back. I promise you. I promise."

She left...

But was it true? Was she gonna come visiting? Was she she gonna keep to those promises?

Ohh! Poor Myra Parker that she had to think about it.

She had thought Mr Smith was asleep but no, he wasn't.

She gave him a good-bye kiss before walking out of the building.

Down as she walked to the road, the voice came calling. A thousand times it would call in just a second.

She was scared... She was frightened.

She stopped a vehicle which drove her right at the front of her house. She was stressed out that she didn't have to think of the costly price it cost.

She stepped out of the car heading straight to her apartment. Yet, the voice didn't stop.

She looked at every direction to be sure if someone was following. But no, no one. It was just her alone heading into the building.

"Myra!" It called, now deep and clear. "Myra! Myra!! Myra?!!"

She rushed in clamping the door close. Her head leaned against the door as she breathed heavily.

Ohh No!!

She wasn't alone... Someone was just right behind her. She hand the sound of the switch as it turned on creating light to the darkness.

Slowly, she turned her gaze to the direction of the sound. Her eyes flew open.

She stiffened...

With the smile the figure offered her made her shiver. Scared to the bone.

He said in between the smile, "hello, Myra."

The other figure got hold of her, gripping her tightly. Roughly, he dragged her out of the building.

"Let... me... Go!! Get off me! Get... off me." She struggled hitting the figure with her legs. "Let me go!!!"

But his hold was stronger than her struggles. She couldn't give up even when she knew she couldn't do anything.

He pushed her forcefully into the very car that had brought her home.

"Somebody help!!!"
