C1 Prologue

I awoke to the faint opening of the door and footsteps. Umupo ako at tumingin sa side clock, alas dose na ng hatinggabi. I stood up and picked up my red robe.

I turned the doorknob and opened the door. When I came out all the lights were on. Tahimik ang buong paligid at may bakas pa ng dumi sa tiles. There are still drops that I don’t know what that is. I combed my hair. My attention was distracted by the ring glowing over the table. I picked it up and stared intently. Nilagay ko sa daliri ko para sukatin kung kasya sa akin. Luckily, it fits to me.

"Ganda ba?"

I cleared my throat and pulled a chair to the side. I drank the wine he had put on earlier. I nodded while still watching it.

"Bakit silver?"

He chuckled. "Kasi hindi gold,"

I grinned and laughed afterwards. It wasn't gold. Nakakadismaya. I thought it was 24k carats. He always giving me a garbage things. Nakakatamad na din. He promised me that he would give me a gold ring as I always told to him. But, it ended up like this. A silver ring with a diamond again on top. Fuck. It doesn't symbolize wealth. It symbolize poor and cheap. Dahil ganoon ang ugali niya. Lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya na bigyan niya ako ng ginto, pero parang nagbibingi-bingihan lang siya. Darn this guy.

"You’re not happy, ”He said and walked away to get a chaser.

I laughed softly and tightened my grip on the goblet. Is he a fool? Did he even still manage to think? Or maybe it's not because his brain isn't working anymore. I stand up and approach him. Noong magkaharap na kami, I threw the wine I was holding at him. Almost nothing was left there. Buti na lang at hindi ko ginamit 'yung isang alak. That was still from France. It would be a great loss if it was just wasted because of what he did.

I grabbed both of his collars and leaned him hard against the wall. I held him tightly as I raged. Damn this man. He's getting on my fucking nerves! At ang mas nakakadismaya ay hindi niya alam ang nararamdaman ko! He's a very shameless person! Para talaga siyang bato dahil hindi niya alam ang nararamdaman ko. Sinusunod niya nga ako pero minsan sinusunod niya lang ang sarili niya at nakakalimutan na ako!

"What's really your problem, Viel?" I say emphatically.

I thought he was going to stop but that followed even more. I looked at him in disgust as I closed my eyes and moaned like a fool for no reason. Darn. Wala na talagang gamot para sa kanya.
