Author has mastered the art of cockroach enemies. I think he probably looked at how people always complain about bloodthirsty MCs and took a sharp turn the other way… For example, MC saves some girl from being poisoned… her SR brother mistakenly thinks he wants to do something to him so he attacks him, MC ofc beats him… That’s not the end of it. The poisoner guys later corner MC and try to kill him… He has a tough fight and barely wins, but they somehow escape. Next day SR brother once again attacks MC. He literally tries to kill him right away, MC just kinda kicks? Then it’s brushed off… That’s not the end! Poisoners get someone even stronger to help and then once again attack MC… MC once again mccguffins his way to a victory he didn’t deserve. and AGAIN HE JUST LETS THEM WALK OFF… That’s… Probably the most annoying thing I’ve ever read in my life.
