C13 Official Rejection

Elena's POV

"Where do we start from?" The doctor asked anxiously.

"Not so fast, I will ask one of my trusted Omega to bring you some fluids. You will keep injecting her any time you come to the pack house. Do we have a deal now?" I asked standing up.

"Yeah, sure, we have a deal," he said, stretching forth his hand to me, which I accepted.

Before I left the hospital, I credited his account with two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to show how serious I was.

He chatted till we got to the front gate, where my Uber was waiting for me already, and I got in.

"Where have you been, Elena? I've been looking for you?" I heard Kessler's voice behind me as I attempted to enter my room.

I was scared and shocked because he caught me unawares but I still needed to be brave. I made the mistake of not checking the hall if he had left or not.

"My love, I went to get some drugs for Amelia and I also needed to check out some designs in the neighborhood." I lied with a smile on my face.

I moved closer and hugged him just before he could say anything.

"Is that why you are not dressed already?" Kessler asked.

"I will go get dressed now. How about Amelia, isn't she attending the dinner night?" I asked Kessler.

"I will instruct an Omega to wake her up and dress her, the doctor already provided a wheelchair for her," Kessler replied.

Hmm! This is the best way I can humiliate her more! I thought.

"You don't have to worry about that, I can easily dress her up and also prepare myself," I said.

"Are you sure of that because our guests will soon start arriving?" Kessler asked.

"Yes," I said, nodding my head.

Kessler kissed my forehead and let go of my waist before walking into his room.

I smiled wickedly as I stared at him walk away, I hurriedly dropped my bag inside my room before I rushed over to Amelia's room.

I made sure to lock the door immediately after I walked in so that no one could easily barge in on us.

"Argh! I don't know why you are still alive; you'd better get up and start preparing for the dinner night you organized," I said, tapping Amelia roughly.

She quietly opened her eyes and when she saw I was the one tapping her, she froze instantly.

"What are you doing in my room?" She asked faintly.

I ignored her and walked over to her wardrobe to pick out the ugliest dress for her. I searched more and saw a beautiful dress Kessler got for her when she became his Luna.

I brought it out because that is what I would be wearing. I suddenly looked back and saw her attempting to stand up.

"You better lay back on the bed because you obviously can't walk yet," I said.

When it seemed like everything was getting difficult, I quickly called in one of my trusted Omega to come handle her before I strangled her to death.

A few minutes after I finished, I prepared a glass of juice and passed it to Amelia since she was almost done too.

At first, she wanted to reject it but I had to threaten her before she accepted it and gulped down half of the glass.

A few minutes later, I got a message that the dinner night was about to start and that everyone invited had gathered already. I looked at Amelia angrily and pushed her wheelchair outside roughly.

Initially, I was to take her through the back door but because I wanted her to get more humiliated, I decided to pass through the front door where everyone would see her.

Just like I thought, everyone stared at her as I wheeled her to the back and left her in the hands of the security.

"Wasn't she alright just yesterday at the banquet, why is she in a wheelchair sitting lifelessly all of a sudden?"

"No one knows till we hear from them," I overheard many whispers as I walked over to the stage to meet Kessler.

Looking at their faces, I know that everyone had one or two questions to ask but it seems the charming smile on my face made them all disappear immediately after I turned to face them.

Kessler quickly cleared the lump in his throat and moved forward to address the guest while I was seated on the podium.

"I'm so glad you all made it to tonight's dinner. This is my little way of thanking you all for making an effort to attend yesterday's banquet.

You all should enjoy yourself and in the meantime, get yourself prepared because I have a huge announcement to make." Kessler said.

Immediately he stepped down, everyone clapped their hands happily and soon started eating the food placed in front of them by the omegas.

I looked up and saw the head of the omega Raina, staring at helpless Amelia. I immediately sent a message to my trusted allies to make sure that Raina does not get any closer to Amelia; if she proves stubborn, they should alert me immediately.

As if Raina read my mind, she stopped attempting to move closer to Amelia immediately our eyes locked.

Soon enough, everyone was done, and it was time for the Luna to go dance with their Alpha. Everyone had a beautiful moment of joy as they danced around happily and laughed at the ones who could not laugh.

A few hours later, Kessler stepped up to address everyone again.

They all sat down quietly, waiting to be addressed by Kessler; he coughed into the microphone he was holding before speaking up.

"With what I'm seeing, I'm sure you all enjoyed yourself and I will be glad to do more of that. Tonight, I will be introducing you all to my new mate and Luna," Kessler said and immediately there were loud noises around the hall.

He had to beat the table so many times to get their attention before he continued.

"But firstly, I reject Amelia Bricks as my Luna. From today onwards, my new Luna and mate are Elena Barker," Kessler said, and everyone started clapping.

Though they were staring at me with questionable looks, who cares?
