C7 Seven

Zoey's POV

"Once, there lived a girl. She was like a little princess, everyone loved her. She was very very pretty. Every morning, she goes to school with her blonde waves tied into two pigtails. Her friends are envy of her in every way. Her twinkling emerald eyes, her cute princess dresses, her hair, her family and even her studies. She was the pride of her family. Her brothers loved her, her parents loved her, her teachers, her friends, everyone. She always gets what she wants." Chris breathes in an amount of air before continuing. All my attention is on him, we're currently in Chris' room, with him at the edge on his bed, leaning forward. His hands propping his head up. I sat on the floor, in front of Chris, my knees propped up. To be honest, I'm surprised at how clean his room is. It even has a little fluffy soft rug in the middle of the room, which I instantly fell in love with since it reminds me red velvet cupcakes. I don't even know why.

After we ran away from the bar, Chris offered to bring me home, which I gladly accepted. But since no one was at home and it's only 4 in the afternoon, he brought me to his house for a little 'get together'. Initially, I was apprehensive about the idea, but Chris decided to play dirty and trick me into believing him that he has chewy dark chocolates brownies for me in his kitchen. I don't even know how we ended up in his bedroom.

"When she was 15, she broke up with her boyfriend because he was a indecisive cheating bastard. She cried for days and nights just because of him. When her whole family saw this, they suggested for her to have a trip overseas to forget about all those shit that has been bothering her. She always wanted to visit Paris, but didn't have a chance. She and her eldest brother packed their bags and left. She was beyond excited, she had always pictured herself sipping on a cup of hot coffee in one of those El fresco cafes in Paris. The trip truly made her a happier person, she would send postcards back to her family, with heaps of smiley faces and xo's written at the end. Everything was going well, until the last day of their trip. Her brother was driving her to one of the shopping malls. It was raining. Heavily. The roads were slippery and they could not see clearly through the rain." Chris breathes out steadily. I rock myself back and forth with my butt and stare at him. "Then?"

He lets out a raspy laugh, "Let's just say, it ended up pretty badly. They drove onto the pedestrian crossing and knocked into a bakery at the side of the road."

"And their parents? Did they not do anything?"

"Of course they did, I mean, their favourite person in the world is dead. Her parents cried and cried and did all those necessary things for their son and daughter to be buried safely and their funeral to be held."

By the time Chris finishes his story, he was already drifting off to sleep .His eyes were half-closed, I smile at the sight of his sleepy face. Aww so cute. I stand up and settle down on the big beanbag at the side of his bed, trying to make the least amount of noise possible. I took this chance to have a good look at Chris and his bedroom, but mainly Chris.

His skin looks so smooth, like seriously it makes me jealous. And don't even let me start on his jawline. It's so well defined like oh my gosh how is it even possible. His lashes are naturally long, since I'm pretty sure he doesn't put on mascara or fake lashes. They cast a faint shadow under his eyes, it makes him look so pretty. His lips are thin and in a light pinkish colour. His hair falls over his face, covering the creases on his forehead.

I sneak a glance out of the window. It's turning dark outside already, I make myself comfortable on the beanbag and drift off to sleep fast.

---

"Oh my god no!" I whimpered, waking up from the short nap. The room is dark and empty. I pick myself up and straighten my shirt. Chris isn't in the room anymore, which leaves me both relieved and disappointed. I was expecting to his angelic face. I left the room.

I found Chris talking on his phone. He does not look happy at all. With his eyebrows furrowed and fury in his eyes, he looks ready to kill. I hide myself behind the wall and listens on. I know it's bad to eavesdrop, but I mean, come on, give a girl some break.

"You better shut the fuck up right now." Chris sneers. My eyes widen, I am really starting to think about being friends with him. Just his sneer alone, could send shivers after shivers down my spine.

"I don't even give a shit." Chris continues.

"No. I don't need to know and I don't want to know."

"Please just stop."

"No fucking way."

"Don't even think about it." and with that, he ends the call and throws his phone onto the couch. With his palm on the forehead, he plops down on the couch. He lets out a deep sigh and I guess that kind of was my cue to make an appearance.

I step into the room with a fake yawn, stretching my hands out for some extra effects. "What time is it?" Chris immediately turns to me and stifles a chuckle. I raises an eyebrow at him. "What."

And he lets out a whole chain of laughter. "Oh my god, look at your hair." My eyes widen yet again and my hand flies up to meet my untamed hair.

"Oh shut up. So what's the time now?"

"It's around 8. You want to grab some dinner?" he finally recovers from his laughter and replies. To be honest, I'm surprised at how fast his mood changes. Just a few minutes ago, he looks like a scary kidnapper but now he looks like happy kid.

Both looks just as hot though.

"Zoey you look like you're about to do the nasty with me." Chris snaps his finger, his face just a few inches away from mine, like he's inspecting what's going on through my mind, hahahaha but he'll never know that I think he's hot.

What the hell Zoey.

"What?"

"I said you look like you're about to do the nasty with me."

"Ew no. Who would want to waste their time on you? Nooooooo one." I stick my tongue out at him and gives him a disgusted look. "Excuse you, but every girl would pay slash die slash kill for this," he gestures to himself proudly.

Ugh his ego is suffocating me oh I can't breathe help.

I raise an eyebrow at him and folds my arm. 'Oh really?" I smirks. Taking me by surprise, he leans towards me until his lips are at my ear. "Yes really. Every girl, including you." he whispers gently, tickling my ear a little. My cheeks begin heating up and he leans back, intentionally brushing his lips by my cheek to send my brain going haywire. He shoots me a wink, before walking out of the room nonchalantly.

This boy.
