I didn’t want to go out so I just sat inside, waiting for… something to happen. I didn’t know how she would react to Alex so I was actually sad.

I saw Alex coming out, his face neutral. I went to him.

“Hey? What happened?”

“The doctor says she should go home. So let’s take her home”

“That is fine but didn’t you talk to her?”

“I did” he looked at me and sighed
