C12 Chapter 12-Happy Monday.

I woke up by my alarm clock the next morning,the space on the bed next to me was empty.

Did she leave early?

I groaned as I sat up on the bed and I saw a note with a heart on the nightstand.

"I got an emergency call,have a nice day kisses". She actually kissed the note and her pink lipstick showed on it.

I smiled at her silliness as I got up from the bed. It was a wonderful weekend I spent with the most beautiful woman ever and I forgot about my encounter with that lady.

I don't know what her deal was but I pity the man she marries,that is if she ever does.

I took one last look at the note Jennifer left. Jennifer, I will make you mine.

I got ready for work and headed out of my apartment to the elevator.I was smiling so happily.

Good morning Mr Sebastian". A neighbor greeted me.

"Morning".

"Someone seems happy today something good happened?". My neighbor asked.

"Just had a wonderful weekend". I replied.

I really enjoyed my weekend,I never really had a lot of time with Jennifer,I hardly see her because of our busy schedule but am glad she still made time especially for me.

I got to work and my co-workers were staring at me strangely.I know it's a Monday and one should be gloomy because the weekend has ended but I felt refreshed and rejuvenated.

Life is really wonderful and every dark place is beautiful when you have the right person beside you.

Jennifer was the right person for me in every single way.

Snow's POV

I sat on the rooftop with my legs crossed smoking as the cool breeze of the night blew on my face.I liked this peaceful and quiet place,no one was allowed to come here except you were amongst the higher members of the gang.

"Fancy seeing you here". Chris said as he walked up to me and sat beside me.

I ignored his presence since all it does is annoy me.

"Are you ignoring me now?". He asked and I said nothing,he sighed deeply.

"Thank you for helping me out". He said and I gave no reply.

I wasn't the type to accept thanks or apologise for something that the boss asked me to do,the boss asks me to do something he's the one who should take credit for it not me.

"I didn't mean to put you in a tight spot". Chris continued.

Oh my goodness what is this? He's so annoying that I feel like pushing him off from here,now he's going to start bothering me and saying it's a way of repaying me.

"I was driven by anger when I saw him and…"

" Oh for goodness sake shut up!". I yelled and he finally shut up.

What's wrong with this guy and his annoying behavior?

"Sorry I didn't mean to bother…"

"Then just shut up". I cut him off and a smile formed on his lips.

Now what is this?

"Thank you Snow I won't forget your help". He smiled at me and I looked away.

When I say his creepy he surely is.

I don't know what he wants but he sure isn't going to get it.

He sat there staring at me and I got fed up and told him to leave.I wasn't going to stand up from here since I came here first.

He stood up.

"Goodnight Snow". He said but I didn't reply.

"Goodnight Snow". He repeated and I felt a vein pop in my head,he just wanted to see what I would say.

"Chris If I hear one more word from your mouth you won't like what i would do". I threatened.

Chris took steps towards the door.

"Goodnight Snow". He said aloud and he was out the door slamming it shut.

There was no need for him to come and thank me,I only did the job that my boss asked me to do.

Boss has already told me I did a good job Chris didn't have to come tell me so too there was no need for it.

I found it creepy how he always wants to be near me. I thought it was out of spite that a woman was above him but I have come to realize that it wasn't that but something else.

I don't know what he wants and I honestly don't give a damn about it. The only one that I cared about was the boss. He's like a father to me ,one I never had.

I can always go to the rooftop whenever I am down or need to be alone and we'll smoke,but in this case I needed a smoke because I was never upset.I can't remember the last time someone said something that actually got me upset and I became sad.

I don't let what others do or say affect me. That's how strong I have become and am sure Gina would be proud of me. We began this journey together but it's a shame we weren't able to come to this point together.

It was always hard for a woman to become powerful in this world ruled by men. That's why I won't bend to anyone as long as I don't accept what you say I won't do and my boss knows that,I am the boss of myself.

I got up and headed to the gym house. I need something to punch,I have to exercise to keep fit.

I was heading for the gym house when I saw the new members laying on the floor and they reeked of alcohol.

Does this seem like a club or bar to them,you have to be alert at all times.

I got to where the first person lay and stepped on his stomach and stood there and he woke up,struggling for air as I got off him and gave him a kick.

"Get up your damn self out of here!". I yelled and it startled the rest and they woke up.

"S..sorry boss". One of them stammered, am not even sure he knows where he is.

"Get out of here!". I yelled again since that was the only language I never noticed drunk people hear.

They held onto each other staggering as they walked.

Seriously it's as if I was the one baby sitting.

"I don't want to see any drunk bodies on the floor again". I said.

"Yes boss". With that they continued on their journey.

I don't even think they have a destination in mind,I shook my head at the sight as I went into the gym room and someone else was already there.

He stopped punching the punching bag when he saw me ,a smirk formed on his face.

"Welcome Snow".

Of all people to meet here it had to be him.
