C14 Chapter 14- Crazy lady on a bike

Snow Pov

I walked into the Boss's office and he was sitting on his armchair as always.

"Sit". He motioned for me to sit.

This was rare ,the boss never asked anyone to sit with him.

It was an honor so I sat with him.

"The minister called and said he wouldn't be going after Chris again". Boss said.

"Okay". I replied.

The minister made a really good decision. I wasn't the type to sit by and watch people do as they pleased, especially if I was involved in the case.

"You did a really good job". Boss said.

Boss always tells me I did a good job.I think he does it to appreciate me for being a woman standing out in the midst of men.

"Thank you boss". I replied.

"You can go, I just wanted to see you". Boss said.

I raised an eyebrow at that.

Just wanted to see me. That was strange but I stood up and headed for the door.

Why did he call me me?

I held the handle of the door.

"Be Careful Snow". Boss said and I turned to him.

"I always am". I replied and he shook his head and I opened the door and I was out of his office.

We both knew that I was the most careless when it came to fighting. I just wanted to win.I was quite surprised when I was so calm at the minister's house . Maybe it's because no one attacked me there.

I yawned as I headed to my room I was sleepy and tired from the training,I really had a tiring day today and I needed sleep,I was the type who needed to sleep everyday to function,I kept late nights but I made sure I closed my eyes for at least three hours or I would regret it the next day.

I got into my room and lay on the soft fabric ,oh this is wonderful I love it. I checked the time it was 12:34 pm. That's late but it was normal for a mafia member.I wonder why the boss was still awake by this time.

I fell into a peaceful sleep that I deserved.

Tomorrow I had to go on errands and I was very much looking forward to punching someone.

Sebastian POV

I hummed as I wore my suit ready to go to work, Jennifer spending the weekend with me really left me in such a good mood.

After wearing my suit I took my briefcase and I headed for the door.I was still humming happily as I opened up my door and walked out. As I picked the door I noticed a woman banging on my neighbors door.

"I know you are in there, come out this instant or you will regret it!". She yelled but the door didn't open neither did my neighbor say a word.

"He hasn't been home for a while". Another neighbor told her.

"Did I ask for anything!". She yelled out the person that spoke to her and finally I took a closer look at her,it was that crazy lady that I didn't want to run into of all places to see her it had to be here and in the morning,I better walk away before she sees me and ruins my day like she always does.

She continued banging on the door as I made my way to the elevator and I stopped in front,when I got into the elevator she was behind me and got in as well.

I didn't hear any footsteps when she got to where I was.

I should have headed for the elevator the minute I heard someone yelling but no I had to go stare and now she was here with me in the same elevator.

She might not even remember me given she hasn't said a word to me.

Was my neighbor her boyfriend or what because she looks angry and I don't want anything to do with this.

I got further away from here since we were the only ones in the elevator.

"Am not some parasite that you have to move away from".I heard a velvet smooth voice say and I wondered if It was actually the same lady that I know that spoke.

I said nothing in reply because the last thing I wanted was to talk to this lady beside me,I should start talking headphones around.

"Tsk..are you ignoring me?". She asked and I gave no reply. I wasn't going to fall for the bait and talk to her.

" You know we are the only ones in this elevator right?". She asked.

"I can kill you and no one would know". She said and that got my head turning to her direction and I saw a smirk on her face.

Damn it!

She just wanted me to turn.

"I knew you were listening, you couldn't have possibly developed an ear problem overnight". She said and the elevator door took the cue and opened. I rejoiced in my heart as I walked out first and took quick steps to my car.

I want nothing to do with her. I don't want to see her.

"Bye!". I heard her yell.

I got into my car not sparing a glance at her,she just wants to ruin my day.

I started the engine of my car and drove off to work,now I can finally relax.

I was driving and then I saw a bike driving beside me. At first I didn't think much of it until it drove and stopped in front of my car and I stepped on the brake immediately and the car stopped my heart thudding.

I opened my car door and got out of the car angrily.

"Are you crazy?". I yelled angrily at the driver of the bike as I walked closer to the bike.

The driver of the bike removed her helmet and my goodness it was her,I knew she wouldn't let it go so I ignored her and something told me so in my mind.

I stopped in front of her.

"Oh I thought you couldn't talk so I was just checking". She said and I was so baffled by her answer that words refused to form in my mouth.

I punched the bridge of my nose as I sighed deeply, shaking my head in disbelief.I can't believe this type of person still exists.

I returned back to my car.

"You should thank me for helping you find your voice". She said and I stopped walking as I turned to give her a piece of my mind. Someone pressed their horn.

"Get out of the damn road if you want to argue!". The man yelled.

Thank goodness he did because I don't know what would have happened if I tried to talk with such a mannerless lady.

I got back into my car and drove off to work.I even forgot that I was heading to work, because of her and traffic I ended up going to work late.

"You are late Mr Sabestain". My boss said,

"Yeah I almost got into an accident with a senseless driver on a bike". I replied.

I didn't lie because I almost did and the driver was senseless.

"You should be careful about those men on bikes". My boss said,

"Sure". I replied as I sat down at my table.

It wasn't even a man that was driving the bike that was the funny aspect of it.

If it was a man it would have been different I guess.

If it's fate that's trying to mess with me by making me meet that woman almost everyday I don't like it one bit.
