C23 Chapter 23- Strange name.

Sebastian POV

You know the feeling of regret as to why you didn't think before doing something that was the only thing I felt.

I actually asked a stranger for help just to get away froJennifer....oh my world.

And the said stranger has made herself feel at home in my house.

I was so famished and my headache from the earlier drama decided to make chicken soup.I don't know what prompted me to say that I was going to meet this lady,even till now I don't know her name.

She has made herself at home in my own house. It made me wonder if she really has something on me. Did I do anything that night when I got drunk?

I just don't know what to think of it.

"Something smells nice". I heard and I turned to see her walking into the kitchen.

I thought she was watching a football match.

"Yeah….am making chicken soup". I found myself replying to her as I focused back on what I was cooking.

"I hope you won't poison me?". She asked as she sat on the kitchen counter and I raised an eyebrow as I took two bowls to dish out the soup,since I think she wants to eat.

"I won't". I replied as I scooped the soup from the pot into the plate and gave her one of it.

"Aren't you acting too relaxed for someone in the house of a stranger?". I asked as I sat beside her.

"Stranger? Are we strangers?". She asked.

"I don't actually know ... .maybe not". I replied as I began to eat.

I totally forgot that I was supposed to be avoiding her,I wanted nothing to do with her since she was so rude but strangely,she's nice as well.

I don't even know why I asked for her help,I just wanted to get rid of Jennifer so I didn't think of the outcome before asking for her help.

Seriously this night got out of hand,but why should I care when I am not with Jennifer anymore.

"Have you seen your neighbor around?". She asked and I turned to see her staring at me,she hadn't even touched her food.

Why did she come in here if she didn't have any to eat?

"Which of my neighbors?". I asked.

"The first day we met that guy I was hitting". She said,

"No…. I haven't seen him for a while,I heard he was moving". I replied.

"He is moving?". She asked.

"Yes". I confirmed and she got up from her seat.

"Am heading out". She said,

"Won't you eat?". I asked.

"Did you put something in it?". She asked and I understood why she didn't touch it. The aroma might have enticed her but she was still in a stranger's house. At least she has a sense of security.

"I didn't thank you for today,let's not see each other again". I said to her.

Though I think we would.

"Mm….bye I guess". She said as I stood up to see her out.

"Well...What's your name?". I asked when we got to the door.

"You said let's not see each other again and I doubt we will see each other again…...so let's just keep our names to ourselves". She said.

"But you know my name,it would only be fair if I know yours as well". I said.

"Snow…. that's my name". She said.

"Snow?...". I asked with a raised eyebrow to be sure I heard what she said.

"Yes Snow,get out of the door I want to leave". Snow said as I opened the door and she left.

"Snow...weird name". I muttered.

That's a really strange name for a really strange woman,was that her nickname? There is no way Snow would actually be someone's name.

What is she? Snowflakes? Snowflake sounded kind of adorable. I shook my head trying to get rid of such thoughts. There was nothing adorable about Snow, so I got back into the kitchen to eat my meal.

Snow is really one strange woman. At least I have a name to call her now.

Jennifer Pov

I couldn't leave Sabastian's apartment building because I still can't believe that the woman I saw was his friend.

I have never seen her in all the years we dated so who was she?

I was angry and maybe jealous that he met someone so fast,she wasn't even classy one bit.

Sabastian wasn't that type of person to cheat. I knew that well enough,I waited for about 50 minutes before I saw the lady walking out alone.

This was what I wanted,I didn't want to see Sabastian but here I needed to know what relationship they had.

It was not as if I was trying to pry into his life but he just found out I was engaged two weeks ago there was no way he would just meet someone new in such a small amount of time.

I stepped in front of the woman and she glared at me as she tried to walk past me and I blocked her way.

"Can I help you?". She asked, obviously annoyed by my actions.

"We met earlier, can we talk?". I asked politely.

"There is nothing to talk about,crazy ex trying to block my path". She said as she tried to walk away and I blocked her path again and she walked past me giving me a body slam and the next thing I knew I was falling.

"Ah!!! You animal!!". I screamed as I landed on the floor and as I looked up the woman was nowhere to be found.

"Hey!hey!?Stop right there!! I said stop right there this instant!". I shouted as I saw her walking away,she turned to me.

"Shut up already,you can't come to your ex apartment building and act like a stalker that's beneath someone like you,as if I know". She said as she burst out laughing and continued on her way.

"Stop right there!come back here!". I shouted angrily.

Was she laughing at me? Did I look like a laughing stock to her?

She didn't spare a glance back at me as she left.I tried getting up back I couldn't because of my heels,I took off the heels and got up from the floor.

How dare she do this to me? I put on my heels and went in search of her and she was no where to be found.

I wanted to report this to the police but I didn't know the relationship she had with Sabastian so I just let it go and got into the car tossing my hand bag on the backseat angrily.

"Ah!!!". I screamed as I hit the steering well,this was driving me crazy .

How dare she talk to me like this?

I took a deep breath in,I will just let this go because of Sabastian but I must surely tell him about this,she disrespected me.
