C27 Chapter 27- Found out.

Snow's pov

I was surprised to see Boss holding a gun but I was even more surprised to see the body thud to the ground.

It was a head shot there, no doubt he's not alive, and Chris and I walked in fully into the hall.

"Now that everyone is here... that's excellent". Boss said as he looked at me in particular.

What the heck!

I haven't even done anything since I walked in and he's looking at me as if he was talking to me in particular.

"This is what happens to anyone who disobeys me bare that in mind". Boss said and I crossed my arm as I scanned the room and saw the rookie shaking with fear,this was t the first time this has happened so I wasn't even moved by it I just stared at the boss...emotionlessly,he knew he couldn't kill me even if I disobeyed him so I don't know why he's bothering saying this.

"He betrayed us, that's why he's on the floor, dead...that goes for anyone that betrays us just bare it in mind that you would end up like him, I know all your secrets inside out don't think you can outsmart me". Boss said as he stared at Edward.

Had he gotten to know what Edward had been up to behind his bank or did he know and didn't say anything about it?

Boss can be mysterious in his own ways.

"I just want to give this warning and let you know that you are being watched so don't fool around and get yourself into trouble,you are dismissed,Snow and Chris stay behind". Boss said as some men took the body away and I and Chris walked closer to where he stood.

When we got in front of the boss he gave me a long stare.

"How are you enjoying your house arrest ?". He asked and I was tempted to roll my eyes.

He just gave that order today and he's asking how am I enjoying it,well for starters my phone is in someone else's house. If I even said that I knew that it won't end well, I didn't want Boss planting a spy on me.

"Fine". I replied.

"I hope you enjoy it because you won't be going anywhere for the time being and everyone is going to stay lowkey for npr because the police are investigating us". Boss said and I narrowed my brows.

Investigating us? How is that when possible?

"They got a tip off from the man….we need to stay low and am telling you in particular because of your recklessness...don't leave this building Snow". Boss warned.

"Yes sir". I replied half heartedly.

I was only thinking about how to recover my lost phone,it won't be good if it goes into the wrong hands or worse hacked into.

"You can leave Snow". Boss ordered and I left.

I wonder what he wanted to tell Chris,I was curious but I couldn't stay.

I better return back to my room and avoid trouble.

I just hope Chris won't mess up again and expect me to clean up after him.

When I got to my door I saw Edward pacing probably waiting for me there.

What the heck does this freak want?

He turned and saw me .

"Snow….um….well…..". Edward called, unable to say anything else.

What's wrong with him today? He is acting unlike himself.

"Did you tell Boss anything?". Edward asked, his voice barely audible.

So that's what has his pants in a twist,he thought I told the boss something about his dealings.

"Unfortunately I didn't tell the Boss anything… about your little dealings". I told him.

I was not interested in what he did outside here as long as it doesn't affect his work I don't give a damn about it.

"Then how does he know?". Edward asked.

Is he trying to say that I am lying?

"What the heck are you trying to say?". I asked as I placed my hand on my head.

"Be more…. specific". I said.

"I wasn't trying to pin anything on you, please don't misunderstand me, I am just trying to put this together so it would make a bit of sense to me". Edward said as he let out a frustrated sigh.

As much as I like to see him in a pickle for the earlier stunt he pulled, I had an appointment with my bed and the TV,I don't want him ruining it.

"Could you move out of the way I need to into my room". I nonchalantly said.

Honestly I don't want to know and I certainly don't care one bit about any of what he was saying.

Edward gave me a long stare.

"If I got to know then the Boss knew before I did,I suspect he knew and hoped you would repent but clearly you still don't want to because you are still doing that business that Boss banned….you know why he banned it right?". I asked him and he looked away.

Seriously he's so annoying,what did he think that he was invisible and the Boss won't get to find out about his dealings? If that's what he thought then he's a moron.

"You better go and tell him the truth,even though I think he knows and get away from my door". I said as he stepped aside as I opened the door and walked into my room slamming the door in his face.

I have enough on my plate already. I don't want to get into extra trouble just because he doesn't want to be content with what he has.

I hopped on the bed and out on the Tv and that was how I wasted the rest of the day doing nothing but watching TV because I disobeyed the boss.

Wake up Eat ,sleep,watch TV. That was all I did for two weeks until Boss finally decided to send me to lift my house arrest.

I was so damn bored that I thought I would pass out at any moment but lucky I didn't and I was saved.

I haven't been so happy to be free in such a long time.

How can the Boss tell me that I am under house arrest? It's practically the same thing as telling me that I was grounded and I was no damn kid.

Seriously the mafia is a place where you would have to obey the order given to you no matter what and sometimes it gets on my nerves.

As I was enjoying the freedom I had, the first place I wanted to go was Sabastian's house.I needed to get my phone back and I just hoped that he doesn't say something like he doesn't have it because I will kill him.

"Going somewhere this late?". Chris asked as Iade my way to the garage where my bike was parked.

" I don't know when I started answering you...mind your damn business Chris ". I sneered at him as I walked past him making my way to the garage as I got on my bike and drove off.

I have become quite lenient these days. I think it's time I step up my game because you have to punish those who disrespect you if you want to have power in the mafia.
