SEBASTIAN POV

It was the next day that it finally dawned on me that I would see Snow again.

What does that woman even want with me?

Am very sure I have given her the impression that I want nothing to do with her but she still keeps popping up in front of me ,now I honestly don't know what she wants with me.

I couldn't concentrate at all in the office because I kept on being paranoid thinking that she would upload that video of me online.

It would be funny to others but not to me, people just don't know what that stuff does to others.

I sighed for the tenth time as I sat at my office table going through some files.I really needed her to get rid of that video.

"Sabastian you have a visitor….". A colleague said to me in a singsong tone.

Visitor? I know I told everyone I know not to visit me at work and I wasn't expecting anyone so who could be visiting me?

I got up from my seat and made my way to where I was told the visitor was at and then I saw her again… Jennifer.

What was she doing here? Even when we dated she never came to my office to visit me,I didn't know if she was embarrassed of me or if it was something else.

When Jennifer saw me she walked up to me and greeted me.

"What are you doing here?". I asked, ignoring her greetings.

"I am fine,thank you". Jennifer said as she rolled her eyes.

I wasn't in the mood for this at all.

"Do you need something from me because last I checked you didn't leave anything at my house,so why are you here?". I asked again.

"You refused to talk to me last time because of your friend so I decided to pay your visit to your office, don't think much of it or was just passing by and I just decided to drop by". Jennifer said.

"Drop by...You decided to drop by here". I scoffed.

"Why didn't you drop by at your fiance's office?". I asked and she frowned.

"Sabastian you need to understand that what I did was for my own good i….". She paused to catch her breath and think you were lying.

"I understand that clearly Jennifer,I hold a grudge against you,let's just go our separate ways and see each other again because next time you stalk me, I will make sure I have a word with your fiance and tell him to not let you go loose or he might lose you as well". I said to Jennifer who was furious at this point.

I honestly don't care how she felt,I have taken my time to think about it and I forgave her and I was willing to let her go even if I didn't want to.

This wasn't the woman I fell in love with...she turned into a chameleon and I am unable to recognize her.

I turned back and headed back into the office.

"You will regret letting me go this easily, Sabastian". I heard Jennifer say and I turned slightly to her.

"You weren't mine to begin with". I pointed out and then I left her standing there like a fool who lost her way.

She wasn't mine from the start,I was just living in an illusion unable to understand that Jennifer was someone else's.

It hurts but I had to face the truth,I had to understand that when she was with me,she was with other men as well. Jennifer wasn't mine….she was someone else's.

I got back into the office and my colleague who told me I had a visitor was staring at me strangely.

"That was fast". She said,

"There was no one there". I replied.

"But she said…..". My colleague tried to say

"I don't know who she is". I cut her off. People at work can gossip a lot, especially women.I won't be surprised if she has already spread rumors that my lover came to visit me in the office.

"Oh you didn't know who she was,she lied to me, wait,she lied to me". My colleague muttered.

That's because you wanted something to gossip about that was why you listened to her words,I wonder what Jennifer told her because no one at work knows I was eating Jennifer.

Jennifer liked to keep work and personal life separate so I did that for her,didn't know this was the reason she was doing so.

I can't be thinking about her,I need to work.

What was even Jennifer's deal? Was it still bothering me? She just wants to make life unbearable for me.

Damn that woman.I hate to say that I loved her.

I was so exhausted when I got off work as I sluggishly made my way to the elevator and then the elevator opened with a ding and I got off,I wasn't even paying attention to where I was going.

How can Jennifer be so shameless that she even came to visit me in my office, she didn't even think about the implications it would have.

She didn't come to visit me while we were dating but she came now,now of all times when we were broken up,that woman really was absolutely shameless.

I could never have imagined that the timid and calm Jennifer I knew her to be was just a facade….how she managed to fool me for so long with that innocent look of hers was what I can't understand.

Is that how people are today? They never show their real colors until you get to know yourself. Well, I learnt it the hard way.

I kept on thinking about Jennifer visiting ,I was staring at the floor as I walked and then I stopped in front of my door and saw another pair of feet and I raised my head and saw her.

What the heck is she doing at my doorstep?

"Welcome back home". She smiled.

What in goodness name did I do to this woman? Why was she following me around? Oh my world.
