C7 A makeover

Keidys explained to Alejandra the tactics she had to follow to make Tomás fall in love and obviously reject him, make him feel everything he had done to her.

"I've known Tomás since he was a child," Alejandra recounted. “We went to kindergarten together and our parents are very close friends, he lives near my house, we grew up together with Josef, we were always the three of us, well, also with my cousin. Since I can remember I have been in love with Tomás, I have imagined a lifetime together, but he has never loved me; He's always liked my friends and I've gotten used to seeing him with other girls. I had told him once that I was in love with him and he made fun of me, even though that was when we were kids. Surely he thought that I had gotten over him, and like a fool I thought that maybe with everything we've been through he would have fallen in love with me, that's why I kissed him today, it was the first kiss I gave as a teenager and it was probably the saddest I will remember”.

Keidys was completely focused on her story, school was almost gone and they had planned to go shopping, the girl liked being together with Alejandra, she never thought she had a friend that quickly.

"Do you see why you must change?" This way you will never be able to make him understand that you will not always be by his side, he treats you badly because he knows that you will never get away from him.

“You're right. But I am not capable of harming him. The heart hurts when you hurt the person you love," Alejandra explained. That echoed in Keidys' mind, he remembered Josef at that moment and for the same reason he felt his world wobbled for an instant.

"And he can hurt you?" Keidys questioned and crossed her arms.

“That is his way of being, since he was little, he has never thought about what is going to come out of his mouth”.

"Don't tell me," Keidys blurted out and placed his right index finger between his eyebrows, "I've experienced it firsthand."

“What happened between you and Tomás?”

It's something I don't like to tell.

"Are you really going to see secrets between the two?"

"It's just, it's something extremely intimate."

“Come on, I'm a grave, besides, it's about Tomás, everything that has to do with him, I want to know”.

“Come on, Alejandra, I'm not an open box and you're much less an explorer. So please don't make me spill my secrets”.

“It's okay, don't tell me, I understand you, there isn't much trust between the two” Alejandra showed a kind smile so that an awkward moment wouldn't develop. “Hey” the girl repaired her friend for a moment, “where did you live?”

“Because?” Keidys inquired.

"You can tell you're not from here," Alejandra explained with a slight smile.

"I've been living in Spain for many years, I guess I lost my Colombian accent a bit," Keidys said with a smile.

At that moment, Mateo approached his cousin, Keidys frowned, she didn't like this guy at all, although Mateo completely ignored her, something that made her even angrier, but she tried not to show it.

Keidys' problem was that he hated not being the center of attention and Mateo began to annoy his way of being, little by little they became like oil and water, at least that young man began to realize that they were as impossible to find as a fisherman trying to reach the horizon

“Let's go?” Mateo asked Alejandra.

"No... I..." the girl tried to answer.

"She's going with me!" Keidys replied with an arrogant face.

"Did I ask you something?" Mateo inquired in the most natural way.

-What did you say?

"I'm talking to my cousin, you have nothing to do with it, so don't interfere." Mateo looked at his cousin again.

“Mateo, please…” asked Alejandra, somewhat worried about the difficult relationship that her cousin was beginning to have with Keidys.

"I'll tell my parents you'll be a little late."

“Thank you very much, I'll call you later” Alejandra showed him a tender smile. It was obvious that they had a good relationship, something that reminded Keidys of his older brother (Santiago).

They said goodbye and then the two girls were left alone in the classroom. The sun filtered through the glass of the windows and illuminated with its warm salmon light that heralded the end of sunset and the beginning of the dark night.

"You can tell they have a good relationship," Keidys confessed, blushing a bit.

“We grew up together, my parents live in the town, a place quite far from the city, they have a beautiful farm there, but the nearest school is a two-hour walk away, that's why they sent me with my uncles so I could study. Mateo accompanies me every vacation to visit my parents, plus I have always studied with him. When I got to the city I felt very scared, for that very reason I tied my cousin a lot and since that day we have become inseparable - Alejandra's face looked happy when she talked about Mateo. If they weren't family, anyone would think she was in love with him”.

“I have an older brother”, said Keidys “he has always taken care of me since I was very little and has spoiled me a lot. But, when I moved to Spain I separated from him, as much as I want to have the same relationship with Santiago again, it is impossible for me, we have spent a lot of time apart”.

“Too bad, but if you try harder, surely you can go back to having the same relationship as before”.

There was a moment of silence.

“I think we'll be late, we're going shopping, I want to show you the world of fashion” Keidys got up from his post. Those words that he had said excited her in a great way, making a transformation to a person was always fascinating and even more if it was a shopping lover involved.

They arrived at a shopping center where Keidys entered the most luxurious stores, that did not sound familiar to Alejandra, every time she checked the prices she was impressed, but she saw that the only thing Keidys did was take clothes without any concern. There were several store assistants who served them with great dedication, it seemed that she was a well-known customer there. They offered them a position while they brought more clothes and made Alejandra go to measure them, the owner of the store came to greet Keidys and repaired Alejandra from head to toe, who had come out already changed with a pink summer-style dress.

"You have a good body, but that hair is very dead, it doesn't have style and those glasses, my love, are out of fashion," he said.

"She's the girl I told you about in the morning," Keidys said, and at that moment the woman put her hands on her waist.

"Yes, yes. So you're the one who needs an urgent transformation” he approached and his eyes repaired even the slightest, “I think you have a fix, your legs are long and you have nice lips, let's see... The dress suits you very well, but your hair is too smooth and totally square” he brought his index finger to his chin and then his eyes seemed to light up and he snapped his fingers “Evelin!” she called, quickly a young woman went up to her—, take the girls to my house and prepare everything for a level five change.

Alejandra did not understand anything about the change, much less at such a level, she only saw herself riding in a car and they took her to a mansion that left her with her mouth wide open. When she entered there was a man who was waiting for her.

“My love!” he yelled when he saw Keidys.

"Nick!" Keidys blurted out and the two embraced.

“My life, so long without seeing you, you were lost!” Nico reproached.

"It's just that I've been studying and with my job I don't have time for anything," Keidys explained, at that moment Nico observed Alejandra's presence.

“Girl... So, you're the one who needs the transformation from head to toe...” she took her eyes all over Alejandra's body “don't worry, I'm going to leave you as good as new, my love.

"I want you to make her unrecognizable, bring out all the beauty she has inside," Keidys asked.

"Treasure, when have I let you down?" You know my work is impeccable —Nico reproached a bit offended.

This is how Alejandra's transformation began. The next day, a new girl appeared; someone that nobody knew, and Tomás? His mouth was open wide when he saw her arrive at the institute.
